Yet another excuse for these fanatics to try (by any means necessary - ie: Violence, Fear and Subjugation) to impose their beliefs on others - even those in other countries....
What a load of bollocks....Killing someone over THIS!!! - It leaves one speechless.....remember LIfe Of Brian!...They want to impose sharia law worldwide - .....I reckon if there is a Third World War it will be over something silly like this.....
I have no problem with someone having their beliefs etc....as long as they don't try to impose them on others - It's bad enough when the Jehovah's Witnesses come banging on the door - every other week - till in the end you have to get in their faces and tell em to 'Fuck the Fuck Off!' - of course they then see That as a challenge...
(Personally I have no time for established religions - imo they were invented/formed/fabricated just there to keep the masses in their place - have power over them etc)...If a person wants to speak to their god/maker/divine being - then there doesn't need to be an intermediary - and if IF there is a God - an all encompassing divine entity - that created/creates all thing s- then I don't see that entity getting bent out of shape over a cartoon/film whatever....the thing is when the Bible, Qu'ran were written the stories within them were written metaphorically, as examples of how people should lead their lives - I mean Jesus Christ didn't actually walk on water, or turn water into wine... If there is a 'god' and I want to pray - I don't need to go to a church/mosque/synagogue etc - I can do it where ever I am... the times I've said a little prayer to the football dieties - and sometimes it's worked!
Also the bottom line for me is, if IF there is a Divine Entity (what the established religions refer to as 'God' ) then surely there is only one god not three or four - depending on where someone is born, and to what parentage etc...
What irks me is that these established relgions always refer to their 'God' in the Masculine - All things are born of woman...so if - IF their is a 'GHod' - then surely that 'God' would be Female!
...Fundamentalists don't need any excuse to do some self-promotion (by any means) or to 're-act' to something outside of their (so called) belief system....See, I think I have a very good solution to all this (the fundamentalist *word censored* that is)...just as we have the Olympics and Paralympics every 4 years...Every 2 years we should have "The Fundamentalist Firm's Sort Out"...They all turn up at some god-forsaken (no pun intended!
