Manure Fans showing a lack of class again

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

My point exactly - does anybody really believe that the scousers are now ready to move on and let this thing go ? For 23 years now they have basked in the victim status and now that they have got somebody to officially declare them as victims I believe that they will spend the next 23 years fighting to be compensated and will use this as an excuse to deflect attention from their misbehavior along the way  For these people the tragedy of 96 lives being lost is but a sideshow now

It's difficult for clubs because there's always a few idiots who'll chant stupid songs like that, but United (as a club) were spineless after the Wigan game. From what the fans on the radio afterwards were saying everybody knew who was chanting but the stewards didn't remove anybody. Fucking pathetic to get that twat Ferguson to ask the fans for respect when the club should actually be ejecting and banning people.

That said I don't doubt that Liverpool fans play their part and although Hillsborough is head and shoulders above any other footballing 'tragedies' in this country it's still ludicrous that their fans think they can sing what they want and then cry when it happens to them.

I know plenty of Arsenal fans are wankers and idiots (as at any club) but I'd like to think we're a class above these sets of fans. I wasn't around in 1989 but I can't imagine watching a tragedy like Hillsborough, where 96 normal football fans were killed, and feeling anything other than utter horror. When I went to Anfield in 2001 I went to the Hillsborough memorial and it was genuinely moving seeing the list of names of the 96, the youngest of who was the same age as I was at the time. I fucking hate Spurs but I don't think the people who support the team deserve to die just because they live a few miles north-east of N5. Unfortunately too many United 'fans' seem to think the best way to prove they're not a glory hunter is to act like Billy Big Bollocks.

This shit is just fucking boring now and although the media's toothless approach to United is a disgrace at least it spares us even more air time of this bollocks. There were two good football matches today and yet shit like this and a fucking handshake are still top stories.

One issue for Liverpool fans is if they strip away the victim mentality they are only left with a poor team and a club that has been in decline for years. I saw comments today to suggest Halsey and the FA were out to get them yesterday.. Seriously yesterday of all days the referee is instructed to "do" Liverpool on every opportunity. If they haven't got those poor mouthed crutches to lean on then they have nothing.

Couldn't possibly be them. It must be the fault of South Yorkshire Police, Mrs Thatcher, The Sun newspaper, fans of other clubs, the National Front, a smear campaign .......

I feel for those that lost loved one's and friends and regardless of who supports who etc...no one in their right mnd would really want such a thing to happen to their rivals....However, what Liverpool fans can no longer do IS 'Play The Victim Card' they have been doing it for years now - Using it as an excuse and as a stick to beat everyone else with...I am pleased that the Truth has finally come out...and I sincerely hope they (the relatives etc) can have closure..what a word eh!? ..that they can find some 'Peace of Heart and Mind' - though of course that 'empty chair' is like a ghost in the house.

But the manure fans - those that did chant etc...are the lowest of the low..not just in footie but in society.

They have been allowed to get away with acting in a Sick and Obscene manner for years and years - by the club, board AND (Especially) their manager - a man who has incredible managerial skills and is a legend in football (love him or hate him - as most do) - But he has only NOW come out and spoken about the sick chants - where was he when AW was being called a Paedo....he should have spoken up at the very beginning - THEN he might be respected as a man as well as a manager of a successful football team.

The thing is the press hang on his every word...he is more powerful tha the FA..and THAT is a crime...mind you the FA are a bunch of pussies and deserve to be horse whipped out of office...

anyway's where was I?... :rubchin: :rubchin: :rubchin:

Yes, scousers can No Longer Play The Victim Card - Some will still try of course, but now it really is time to move on and remember with fondness those that were lost.

The media and the FA have seriously avoided giving United due criticism down the years because Ferguson has the media wrapped round his little finger and sadly, much like a cult, there are millions of moronic glory-hunting wankers who hang on his every word. Ferguson could tell them that Abu Hamza was actually a decent bloke and a personal friend and he could get a few million signatures on a petition for him to stay. I mean, imagine how much BBC pay for MOTD, and how much of a flagship program it is for them: yet they refused to enforce the basic contractual obligation of the Premiership's most powerful man to talk to them out of fear of upsetting them.

As you say the club has ignored these chants for years and years, and their Supporters Trust will still come out and steadfeastly reject their fellow fans and the club's belated recognition that they exist. They're also well-known for Wenger paedophile chants and Leeds 'Istanbul' chants. I'm sick and tired of hearing about these nobheads trying to be Billy Big Bollocks, Sunday was an entertaining football match with some commendable actions before the game. Yet all that's plastered over the media is about a few dickheads (from both sides) who do stupid stuff when the ground's empty.

Ferguson and both clubs know what needs to be done: ban the twats who do these things instead of spineless pleas for respect which everybody knows are fuck all use. I'm just sick of this shit on every media outlet, next time the clubs meet I don't give a fuck who chants what, why should the rest of the footballing world be subjected to a constant barrage of stories based on what boils down to a petty and immature feud?
