Arsenal Ladies win the league - again!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Well played indeed. Can't claim to have watched much of it myself, but there's no doubting these ladies achievements. Thank god someone's keeping the spiders out of the trophy cabinet !

I find myself rolling my eyes when the only input my missus gives when watching football with me is how nice looking such and such a player is.

So imagine my surprise when watching the Arsenal ladies on ESPN over the weekend and finding myself doing the exact same thing!!I had finally seen the world from inside my girlfriend's tiny little mind  I jest, I jest. Still though it was an enlightening experience, and the woman presenter that was out on the pitch beforehand was a hottie and all.

Anyway, the upshot of all that drivel is well done The Arsenal ladies. In fact well done to ladies everywhere. I love you. All. Lots.

Well done, at least somebody's winning something. Still, the standard is genuinely appalling and painful to watch.

Thats a bit harsh. Some of em are half decent looking. They're not all butch dyke types. Ask rodders apparently he "tugged one out over em" :barscarf:

Haha yeah to be fair there are always a couple of lookers, gotta hook the blokes in somehow. On a serious note though the standard OF FOOTBALL is awful.

I once watched a game in the hope they'd swap shirts at the end of the game.

They didn't :(
