weekend games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Nice to see Fergie's rent boy excelling himself in the middle again today

By the way, I've just noticed that El Classico bollocks is on tonight - a prospect that no doubt has everyone salivating, watching 22 tossers surrounding the ref, waving imaginary cards and doing everything they can to get the other team down to 10 men. El Cuntico more like
milan derby is on espn , a much better game .

compared to past milan teams it will be like the milan and inter reserves playing each other.

I'll try and watch both games though.

Anybody else get as fucked off as me with this whole Brad Friedel consecutive games thing? I remember when at Anfield in 2009 he over-committed when Torres was one-on-one, brought him down because he was too late trying to pull out and was rightly sent off. Then because the FA felt sorry for him because they lost 6-0 and O'Neill bitched and cried they rescinded what was a clear red card. Run should have ended 3 and a half years ago.

Newcastle were fucking abject in that game against the Mancs - no evidence of a stirring comeback this time round eh lads ?

Cheick Tiote confirmed what I have always thought about him - the most overrated, one paced, piece of shit in the Prem. How anyone could rate that bloke as a £20m+ signing is beyond me. Cabaye wasn't a lot better either for that matter

To be fair, the media seem to have a random number generator when it comes to putting transfer values on players  - and sadly, many fans are happy to lap it up... especially when it's backed up by an ever so reliable Youtube compilation that makes even Eboue look like Pele

Even the broadsheets are becoming suspiciously tabloid-esque in their transfer rumours :?

Song on the bench for Barca.

I can't work out who's centre back for Barca tonight :? - Mascherano and Busquets, presumably? :? or Adriano? either way, there's not a natural centre back amongst them!

Barca: Valdes, Alves, Mascherano, Alba, Iniesta, Xavi, Busquets, Adriano, Messi, Fabregas, Pedro.

Real Madrid: Casillas, Arbeloa, Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo, Khedira, Alonso, Di Maria, Ozil, Ronaldo, Benzema.

Btw, what odds on Pepe either getting sent off or getting away with an act of thuggery?

Is it just me or should Valdes make a save against Ronaldo?
