New Gooner (my very first grandchild)

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

They evicted them when they built Mahon Point shopping center and moved them a few hundred yards to a lovely estate on their own.
Probably some of the nicest houses in Cork  one of them has a swimming pool in the back garden.

Google Earth Mahon point, they are between the shopping center and the motorway.

My house is a few hundred yards away opposite the soccer pitch where there is a match going on 8)

Place of your birth?

Nah - it's a temporary area set up for the travelling community (Gypsies) to park their caravans, usually with some power/water/etc supplied. Very controversial in Oireland.
