I saw the Kirkland incident and must say I am disgusted that this is happening. No matter where you work you have the right to feel safe and this vile little thug has the audacity to do this and then go back to the stands laughing with noone holding him to account. I would have grabbed him and handed him in if somehow this was an Arsenal match.
I bet the cretin feels good right now, lets see how he feels when the football community start shouting about how he should be jailed, which he should.
If you see the footage their is a steward right next to the goal who looks and does nothing.

Not condoning the actions of the scumbag but was the hit really enough to floor a bloke who's well over 6 foot? Later on a punch up started between two players and their fans ran onto the pitch to attack everyone, one lad (and he is a huge, hard fucker) got jumped by about 7 guys and had his arm broken and was kicked to shit and they jumping up and down on him.............................now that's cowardly..................and yes kirkland does make a meal of that push.......man the fuck up

Looks to me like hes not "holding the back of his head". More like covering up in case theres more kicks, punches to come. He didn't know if there was a weapon, more than one person. (There were hundreds of the c unts right behind him).
I dont know what I would have done in a situation where a c unt comes outta nowhare - jabs me in the face, possibly eyes, with hundreds of his mates right behind him.
I think its ridiculuous of Warnock and us behind keyboards criticising Kirkland for hitting the deck. Probably the best thing was to hit the deck and cover up.
Dont get this confused with players diving/cheating to get a free kick or pen. Absolutely day and night - no comparison. This guy was in danger.
