Snow at the bridge

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I heard they're bringing Jeff Winter out of retirement as special guest referee.

Sorry that I gots no puns like the rest of you, but I'd actually be happy if this game were postponed.

The way we're playing at the moment, the last thing we need is a trip to Stamford Bridge. If we could take the week off, prepare for the Bolton game and sort this one out at the end of the season, I think it could really benefit us.

Plus, if Man Utd fail to win (against Liverpool), we're suddenly in a position where it's in our hands again, and that mindset should encourage us.

I agree with you, Smooth. Also, why is everyone so cold towards Senderos? Some people would blame him for everything even a snow storm :?

Seriouslt though, the pitch would have to be really bad before the game gets called off because 1 Sky Sports is gonna do everything they can to get the game to go ahead and 2 The worse condition the pitch is in, the more it's gonna benefit Cska.

Ditto

Imagine the game got reallocated to the last of the season. And we needed to win by 2 goals to win the league...

...

Nah, nothing like that could ever happen. :P

I DON'T THINK THERE IS ANY SERIOUS DANGER OF THE FIXTURE BEING POSTPONED. THE PREDICTED SNOW FALL IS NOWHERE NEAR HEAVY ENOUGH TO WARRANT THAT.

Surely they have under-soil heating at Chelsea - it's a disgrace if they haven't.
