Forgot that there were other games today.

Just glad to get £100 @ 4's for a sending off today. Only consolation that it was Wilshere. Give him more time to build his strength up to carry the team for the rest of the season.

We've cocked up multiple chances to overtake those N17 wankers :(

Couldn't have asked for a better sequence of results. I wonder will we get invincibles day earlier than expected aswell.

The worst Gooner start since 1994 and we're 2 points off the Virtual Trophy position. Just proves what I've known for ages - there are 3 quality teams in the PL and the rest are a pile of shit. Newcastle proved that last season when almost winning the Virtual Trophy despite having sold their captain and best striker after winning promotion from the Championship not more than a year before

The Virtual Trophy i.e. the third most important one from the five, is only won when you qualify for the CL. They were runners-up in the Virtual Trophy to us :D

What a cruel twist, to have the virtual trophy snatched from you! I still recall AW's face as he clung to Pat Rice for dear life last May, worried in fact that it could indeed be snatched from him!

It was so crucial in the history of the club you see because without it Van Persie would have left......err, hold on a minute....and what's more we wouldn't have been able to attract all those Grade A signings in the Summer. I mean Vertonghen wouldn't be here now would he.......err, hold on a minute.

I'd like to know why everyone will be celebrating like fuck again if we finish 4th when a) it puts us into a competition we have about as much chance of winning as Andre Santos has of winning Slimmer of the Year and b) makes no fucking difference whatsoever to the quality of singings we make or the players we retain and c) gives the board justification for letting the Self Harmer complete the whole sorry thing again the following year

I'd prefer a crack at the Europa League - a cup we have a chance of winning and it would finally put some board level pressure on the Self Harmer

Arse2Mouse summed it up today; "We exist now on a Möbius strip in which we fight for fourth, to qualify for the Champions League to ensure we still have enough to fight for fourth."

I'd also like a little stint in the Europa League tbh mate, we'd get to see some cracking Eastern European megaphone action!

I'm just hoping that Southampton find some form in time for Monday night when they take on one of our main rivals for a Europa League spot in West Brom

Drama queen

We'll be battling it out for our 4th place trophy with the likes of Liverpool, Sp*rs and Everton, as per usual. West Brom will be nowhere near by May... so let them put 7 past Southampton if they want. It'll make no difference.

Liverpool will be nowhere near, history suggests Everton probably won't last the course so I reckon it'll be between us and Spurs. And despite everything I still think we're better than them, don't reckon they'll be adding to their pitiful haul of one fourth-placed trophy.

Who are this Everton that you mention? You mean the ones with no money to spend and with the manager who would never be good enough to manage Arsenal. Surely we're not competing with them are we ?
