I thought that he had a cold myself, kinda congestion like.

Actually, yeah sammy. He's got previous, but ffs a few bleedin' lines and it's off with his head.

The bloke is minted and with his career behind him he can afford to tell the british horseracing establishment to fuck orf.
He will of course be remembered, as one of the sports true greats, rather like the tax dodger Piggott.

Well, as staying slender and light is an advantage, I reckon this might be his potion of choice...northbank123 wrote:What performance enhancing drugs would jockeys take?

He got a caution in 1993 (I think) for possession of coke.

Anyway, doesn't take away from the fact that he was/is a great jockey.Indeed, Dettori himself was cautioned by police for possession of cocaine in 1993.
Re: No don't ask Frankie
happy retirement frankie

Re: No don't ask Frankie
why the jockeys even take doping tests? it's not like they will take the horse on their back
Re: No don't ask Frankie
Newmarket is one of the most lucrative outlets for nose bag according to sources in the Medellin of the UK, Islington !
They are all on it from the stable boys n girls to jockeys etc .
Been an open secret for 20 years !

Agree with Herd.
Is it because the jockey's (flat) need to keep their weight lower than it's natural level? i.e riding weight can range from 7-12 upwards and I think that most jockeys can go to scales at about 8-10, roughly. (stone/lbs)
It is a appetite suppressent after all.
