WBA GAME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I honestly would rather lose, to pile more misery on Wenger.
I want him gone and for that we need the bad run to continue, "breaking eggs and "omelettes" springs to mind.

Judging from sentiment, I think a draw is on the cards. We will come out of the blocks, but I don't think that it is going to result in anything other than snapping into tackles a bit. We will do the usual passing it around in midfield, no width and maybe a couple of half chances before West Brom take the lead whereas then then will shut up shop.

We will nick a goal towards the death - 1-1 and people will be really pissed off on the forum.

Predicted attendance tomorrow? You can basically pick your seat anywhere in the stadium on the ticket hub, loads available on the exchange. Add to this all the people selling through "non-official" channels eg Twitter and those who won't show up but haven't put their seat on the exchange, i'll be surprised if there's more than 50,000 in there.

mid 50s I reckon, 55,000-56,000 will be there.

Lower tier completely full due to Cat C prices, but several thousand worth of gaps in the upper tier at the sides.

Yup, but with loads and loads of empty seats around the upper tier.

Do they care? Do they fuck, as long as they have been paid for.

I remember that game - that was the game where the whole stadium erupted into 'Six percent, you're having a laugh'. I couldn't stop laughing. If only we can get that sort of venom into an anti-Wenger one. I suspect that it isn't far off. With the media and now bloggers starting to question him - the worm may be turning finally! :barscarf: :barscarf:

Look I want him out as much as you do but wanting us to lose? No true Gooner should ever want that in what is a truly ridiculous post.

I'm so sad at the state of affaires at our club at the moment, it feels like we've been poisoned with a cancer theres no cure for. We've got a board that only gives a fcuk about percentages, a manager that is so incompetent it defies belief, both of which are contributing to a huge devide in our fanbase. :(

I want us to beat WBA but whats the fcuking point. The sooner Le Fraud drives us in the ocean the better quite frankly. For the first ever time in my life I had a sense of satisfaction when we lost to Swansea, I never thought I would feel like that, and no football fan ever should have to, thats how bad things are. :(

1-1 and the fcuking idiot will say it was hard earned.

p.s don't mean to offend just pissed off at what is happening to our club.

Not going tomorrow (even though I have a season ticket) - too ill and pissed off. I concur that 1-1 is the most likely outcome.

2-0 Arsenal. Maybe 2-1, it's ridiculous to think we're going to get a clean sheet... but my hunch is a victory with two Arsenal goals!

I have the feeling the management and the players are not going to be accepting any less than a win and it'll show.

Sid, I cannot agree with your sentiments about preferring to lose. I understand them, but I could never agree that I would prefer to watch my team lose. Wenger will get his, in time. His legacy is being tainted as abysmal with each passing week.
At this rate he is going to be remembered more for behaving like Nicolae Ceausescu and clinging onto his beliefs and power, than a once great innovator of our game and club.
