David Dein must come back for Wenger to stay

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

David Dein must come back for Wenger to stay

Post by Ben-gooner14 »

According to the London evening standard they have reported that Arsene won't stay unless Mr Dein returns to the club, and apparnetly will have a meeting this week with the arsenal board. It has no quotes to back this up, and they almost rule it out later in the article as they say Arsene will sit tight to about christmas and then make his decision. If you havn't been watching sky sports news it was quite interesting listening to Kenny Sansom about Thierry Henry and the future of Arsenal. In the press conference Thierry said that Arsene will keep to his contract but this opinion is probally based on knowing that Arsene is a loyal man rather than information we havn't be told about.

In a serious note about the media. I think that it has to change, sites like eatsleepfootball publish at least 65% of false articles. These articles worries fans all over the world, unless you're a Barcelona fan.

Once again, my good mate Hlebby makes a good point. So in response to all of you in one way or another, this is my philosophy when it comes to the British press; unless there are quotes in there (and quotes in L'equipe don't count), I will not read it, ever. Even when there are quotes, I still am very wary of it, as the red tops do love to twist people's words.

Until recently, I wasn't aware that sites like NewsNow existed, and to be honest, I wish they were never brought to my attention. Never have I read so much shit in all my life. My recommendations? Read www.guardianonline.co.uk as they have witty, well written and balanced articles which allow users to comment on after. Interesting reads all round.

Tony

Absolutley right.

And,   You have to look on the "Don't blame it on Henry" thread mate. I hate Hleb has been making sweeping statements, defending his patch of Hackney. And Guardian readers get some....
