Other weekend PL games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The Europa League dream gathers pace as the Scousers might stay 6 points behind

I've just put an extra bottle of bubbly in the fridge
How many do you keep in there generally? :?
Just the one - for when Arsene's contract gets renewed :D

But the achievement of the Europa League dream would mean needing a second bottle

It'll be fucking great to see Gazidis and chums have to think long and hard about whether these games are Category C or B, and to watch the dream of 'competing with Europe's elite' played out in front of 35,000 people on a Thursday night. Even better the season ticket cup credits (unlike the League Cup) will be spent on this mickey mouse cup.

Only with this can it be the beginning of the end for the owner and his executive management team

Have too agree with you on the Gerrard comment, but mines was more directed at the reaction from the commentator.
It was a brilliantly taken goal too.

Great goal but I've just seen loads of Liverpool fans popping up on my Twatter feed about how he's still the best around and he's still absolutely class. The guy is well past his best, one goal doesn't change that.

They may as well have given him the medal the day he signed for United. They finished behind Citeh on GD then sign the country's best player.A no brainer.Must have died and gone to heaven playing for a manager who wont except 2nd best let alone 4th

Didn't they "respect the club's wishes when they say that they do not want to sell the player"?
