Live on Setanta Ireland.... Great win there last season after falling behind. Mcclean a doubt for them. Just hope not to see Squid playing tomorrow or ever again.

Re: The sunlun away thread.
Really underestimated the extent to which it turned our season round. Had we gone into the NLD another 3 points behind I doubt we'd have gone on and hammered them as we did and that they'd have folded from thereon to the extent that they did.Bradywasking wrote:Live on Setanta Ireland.... Yeah yeah yeah augie we all know Sagna is world class etc etc but for the last 2 months he has been dog shit and only a blind bald bastard could not admit that.![]()

Excuse me stumpy but I have been one of those that has been very critical of sagna's performances of late - the difference between me and some of those others is that I believe that the guy is disillusioned with life at AFC (and I dont blame him tbh) but that is still not an excuse for the dire performances he has put in.
Jeez I never thought that I would see the day when I would be slated on here for not being critical enough of any player at our club![]()

I know, Shiny Dome. I actually fully agree with you though. I think he is hugely demotivated and sick of the whole regime.

Shame, because he is/was class.

Re: The sunlun away thread.
Anyone want to bet that it will be down to "special circumstances" if we don't come away with three points?

I have a gut feeling we'll win but having Big Seba in the backline is frightening. I think there will be goals in this game.
3-2 to the Arsenal
3-2 to the Arsenal

It will be close but Jack and Theo will have just a bit too much trickery for them. We'll nick it in extra time.

Re: The sunlun away thread.
Seems that we're very hopeful of Koscielny being fit. Even Lord Wenger has seen the light with his £5m wonder signing Squillachi. In the press conference he spoke about being creative in defence if Koscielny is not fit saying that Miquel is available and that Sagna can play there with Jenkinson on the right.
Squillachi will be a sub at best........he better fucking be anyway.

Really think we will lose this. It will be a dire game and we'll concede a goal from a Larsson fk with ultra dodgy defending.

When you look at that team, and then compare to what Toilet have fielded today. You have to ask, why are we not clear of them in the league, FFS.

I think the main difference is Bale.Top Londoner wrote:When you look at that team, and then compare to what Toilet have fielded today. You need a top player who can drag you out of the shit when you're not playing well... Van Persie did it last season for us, and Bale does it for them.
I don't think we have a genuine world class match winner any more, and it shows.

EDIT: speaking of the *word censored*...
