Nakamura

Post by RaM »

Well hello everyone!

Irish-Australian gooner, found this forum a couple of days ago, so first post.

Anyway, just quickly want to ask, what would you guys think of us buying Shunsuke Nakamura from Celtic?

I personally think he's a great player, could be really good for us on either wing.

What got me thinking was this article:

Welcome aboard RaM.

I like Nakamura's ability with free kicks, but I haven't seen enough of him in open play. At least he might be able to deliver a half-decent corner, unlike most of the current squad.

I'd be against .. Not a fan of the Scottish league & the record of players born in Japan in the Premiership isn't great .

Your not suggesting Inamoto wasn't one of our finest ever are you?

Would be good signing but don't see the benefit although would be cheaper than Aquilani who we are linked with from Roma. Was impressed with Aquilani when Italy U21 played our U21's. Was one of the shoot on sighters which is definitely something we need!!
