THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The man is an idiot and it's the same old shit from him week in and week out. Nothing every changes and nothing ever will. If the players were good enough to win things a few years back and didn't then logically, it's his fault for it not happening.

How ironic would it be to see Wenger at the helm of PSG after all his pathetic whinging about petro-clubs like City & Chelsea

It's not just 1 game Arsene!

We have been crap for many, many games..

You have inadvertantly put games above, when you meant years Blade.

Got a text from a mate who supports West Ham

Arsenal last won a trophy 8 years ago when the crazy frog was no 1

He's still in charge now

FFS West ham fans taking the piss, its beyond a joke.

Its absolutely clear nothing will change, Wenger turns up on tv grinning all over his Chevy Chase after scraping a win at home against relegation candidates.
He even had an excuse ready in case we only got 1 point, some half arsed mutterings about a draw can be good coming out of a crisis.
Replied to the interviewer its no problem to have no on-field leader, and ended with a "cant please everybody" quote.
I can see us getting that 4th spot, Wenger getting a 2 extra years, and all the same mistakes will be repeated again.

First time on here so Hellooooo.

I have never been so sad and depressed to be an Arsenal supporter.
It has come to the point where people snigger when you mention who you support.

Wenger, whenever HE chooses to leave will be remembered at Arsenal for all the wrong reasons.

His press conferences are the ramblings of a man who is obsessed with himself. I fear the longer he stays the longer it will take to undo the damage he is currently doing to tyhis once proud club.

Some of his comments are treating the fans like idiots "the season is not over" post Blackburn a classic.

It is not just the lack of silverwear, I could live without trophies for 10 years if it meant we were competing for honours but now we are just an also ran club "happily" competing for 4th place. What the fuck has happened?

If he is given a new contract I dread to think where we will be in 5 years time, it is oo depressing to think about.

The sad truth is he is going nowhere because he is accountable to nobody at the club.

The Munchen game said it all about Wenger for me. A once proud man, eloquent and dignified. Now, quite pathetic. Would not shake hands after the game with Jupp Henyckes, a legend in the Bundesliga (1000 games today as either a player or manager), but AW shakes the hand of Lambert, after a very nervy 2 - 1 home win. It really says it all. (But he likes his £7.75m per annum contract, yes, very nice).

Yes, he is a complete buffoon and a disgrace to Arsenal. I was appalled after the Bayern match, not just on the performance of our players and manager, but with Wenger's shit sportsmanship.

He got fucking caned by Henyckes and he knew it, so he ran off limping down the tunnel with his tail between his legs like the coward he is.

Lord Wenker is a total embarassment to our club but hey ho why should he give a fuck after all it is now HIS fucking club by all accounts.i know its been said before but we left our heart and soul and everything this club used to stand for behind at highury, the further along we go with wenker i cant help but think that moving to the emirates was wenkers way of sanitizing the club of all its old school values and starting afresh almost in a chapman type way, unfortunately its backfired spectacularly, Wenker can please himself now, afterall it is Arsene f.c not Arsenal f.c these days.those special words 'victory through harmony' are a long distant memory, what the fuck have we become :(

APPARENTLY (cannot personally verify this) on MOTD yesterday you could see Bould turn to Wenger after Villa scored and say "how many times do I have to say it to you?"

Also saw a great pic taken of Wenger after we'd scored the second with Jenko and Bouldy putting in massive celebrations behind him and three muppet subs slumped in their puffy coats and hats with no expression or emotion.
