Olivier Giroud - Another Alan Smith or "Le Chapman"?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

that and Gervinho winning the Balon D'Or I can see happening any minute now

DonT know why you brought me in to it JD i have no problem with what you post with the exception of you telling us tht we cant be proper fans because we wernt born in fucking islington. It looks like now apparently we have to read a thread to see if you have posted on it and if we post on it it seems we are following you from thread to thread.I made a comment on a match thread a while back b4 you had posted on it and then you mentioned i was trawling you,if you or any body on here thinks im not going to post on a particular thread because you have posted on it they have another thing coming. Some day maybe we will meet up and you can tell me then im not a proper fan and we will see how tht goes for you.

Now ill leave it at tht so not to annoy other posters.

Rant over

OK I admit it,
I clicked
CologneGooner, is that you at the back? ;-)i

I wasn't born in Islington,
I've never issued fan rules
or made bizarre geographical proclamations

the 'superfan' banter is mostly based attendance bias
I said I wanted us through in Europe because I enjoy the away days
and that those who wanted us out probably weren't going
Maybe I was wrong about that
Perhaps its just not the kind of thing people bring up whilst out boozing:
I hope we lose...
Was hardly the most aggressive - attendees are best propaganda I've ever heard

Still haven't watched the whioe Bayern game on telly
experience of the game from am overview gives a different perception
especially shapewise
I probably missed loads of close up stuff on telly
I probably was desperate for us to fight
didn't want to lose the belief several of these players can still make it
can be proper Arsenal players, help us challenge
and to see that energy from our players only encouraged my madness
Giroud and Rosicky set the tone for an excellent performance was my overview opinion
there's every chance when I watch the video that will be tempered
that my view will move toward the others and that the technical aspect of out game
suffered too much for that to be a great way for us to play
your probably right
I thought the manager doing something different 'worked'
in terms of game management against superior opposition
of course ultimately we failed
I loved seeing the fight, and I loved the manager tailoring our gameplan for once

I don't think people who attend understand better
Bet I missed tons of key details that were replayed

Jeez. Our fans now have problems with our players scoring in internationals.

SteveO's pure hatred of Giroud and infatuation with Diaby is a constant source of enjoyment for me

No hatred involved chaps.....just here to highlight old Le Chapman's every fault in the way this forum loves to do with Rosicky and Diaby. Strange how it seems to rub a few people up when its a player they like.......

I don't even rate him that highly, just makes me laugh to see you highlight a player when they score in an international. Also the sentence above in no way is contradicting yourself.

Have a fucking day off mate will you. I didn't even say I had a problem with him scoring international goals......just commenting how it'll no doubt be used as a case for the defence of the Slug of Montpellier. I remember Bendy getting a nice 5 year contract on the back of a few goals for Denmark and doing sweet FA for us.

Let the bloke score 30 goals for France for all I care. Its up there with Mertesacker's 80 caps for Germany and Heskey's 60 odd for England. I couldn't give a flying - all three are / were utter shite.

Giroud is seen walking down the streets of Montpellier NAKED  giving Platini a piggy back ride :o

A pedestrian stops, turns to Giroud and says "excuse moi, monsieur Giroud. Why are you naked? and why have you got monsieur Platini on your back?"

"Ah!" exclaims Giroud, "we are going to a fancy dress party!"

"as what? :? " asks the perplexed pedestrian.

"as a snail!" says Giroud proudly.

"a snail? erm... ok, and Platini?" :?

"well, I'm the snail and Platini is michel" (me-shell  :D )
