Less abuse, more substance...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

That's stupid
That's DEMOCRACY Khalid.
It's what enables us to have the right to say what we like.
It doesn't happen in lots of countries. Or on the official Arsenal Forum :)

I know what it is  Would you really die to allow some hate-preacher to talk shit?

If not then the word "hypocrite" comes to mind 8)

What about exactly?

The quote goes:

"I totally disagree with what you are saying. But I would defend, with my llife, your right to say it"

If you believe in it then you will defend anyone's right to talk anything with your life. If you believe in it but won't do that, then you are a hypocrite.

I do beleive the boy actually meant it.

This thread is titled "less abuse, more substance".

So I'm going to ignore the abuse. And lack of substence.

I never have been, nor ever will be, a hypocrit.

I won't bother arguing about this. I don't understand the quote. Or maybe I am just not a good person. As I will never defend anyone's right to speak with my life. Life is too precious.

Depends how you view it. If I am asked to die while defending somebody else's opinion then I'll run away

Why comment on it then ?

I'm sure you mean well.

It's a good job the deceased soldiers of WW2 didn't feel that way.
khalid_red wrote:Life is too precious.
Theirs was too.

Khalid, Khalid, Khalid, you are so good at rubbing people up the wrong way!
I know you don't mean to, but sometimes you just gotta think before you speak, or post, in this case !
If you hear or read something you don't fully understand, It's not the law that you have to make a smart ass reply to it.

I know you're a young 'un and a bit naive, but you've just got to use your loaf a bit mate!
