I Hate Hleb, Tony Saunders and Guardian readers.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I Hate Hleb, Tony Saunders and Guardian readers.

Post by Galasso »

Couldn't resist this...I read these posts very close together and

Here is Tony Saunders making a very good point regarding the press and his recommendation for the Guardian. And a nice little tip of the hat to fellow poster I Hate Hleb:

Once again, my good mate Hlebby makes a good point. So in response to all of you in one way or another, this is my philosophy when it comes to the British press; unless there are quotes in there (and quotes in L'equipe don't count), I will not read it, ever. Even when there are quotes, I still am very wary of it, as the red tops do love to twist people's words.

Until recently, I wasn't aware that sites like NewsNow existed, and to be honest, I wish they were never brought to my attention. Never have I read so much shit in all my life. My recommendations? Read www.guardianonline.co.uk as they have witty, well written and balanced articles which allow users to comment on after. Interesting reads all round.

Now here is I Hate Hleb on a seperate thread defending his patch of Hackney...and trashing Guardian readers at the same time!

BY THE WAY, I LIVE NEAR THE MARSHES ON THE OTHER SIDE OF HACKNEY (THE ROUGH BIT, NOT THE PART WHERE ALL THE MIDDLE-CLASS, GUARDIAN READING W**KERS HAVE MOVED TO!). :x   OOPS! I'VE PROBABLY JUST ALIENATED HALF THE GOONER READERSHIP WITH THAT LAST COMMENT:wink:  SORRY GUYS.

Loved this chaps. Thanks for bearing with this sometime Guardian reading wanker.

I Hate Hleb - Us Guardian readers would peacefully demonstrate your ass, that's how hard we are

In fact, Guardian readers would demonstrate at a do-it-yourself convention  - that's how much they love to whinge and run peoples lives for them (because of course THEY know what's good for us better than we do!!)

Sorry fellow gooners - a little bit of politics there!! :? I was just showing what an intellegent, informed and well-rounded person I truely am!

Very kind indeed! I'll have to go with the 29th May 1989 pic. Ah, the memories...

Thanks a lot Tony. I followed the instructions you gave DB10Gooner and now I've got myself an Avatar!! 8)

To show you my gratitude, I have written a quick poem in tribute to you:

Tony Saunders is a star
Helped sort out my avatar
His favourite Tweenie is La La
and he walks around in a ladies bra.

I only hope you feel it is a fitting tribute.

Well, it'd be a bit difficult to walk around in a man's bra.

Too true, my friend too true!!

One of life's great mysteries, by the way, is why hasn't anyone ever invented a bra for men? I suppose they thought it Breast not to!!

Another thing, where is the male version of the sanitary towel - for when you have those 'unfortunate' discharges? After all, it was supposedly invented to help absorb MENStrual flow!! In these times of supposed equality, I believe we, as men, are being short-changed by the powers that be and usurped by the opposite sex. It's bloody annoying, I tell you!

So, Tony, I look to you to lead the campaign (after your recent - albeit losing - experience in the Moderator Election) to redress the balance. I would have asked I Hate Hleb but apparently he is busy!! New job or something!!

Now, despite that set-back, we all still have confidence in you because we know you are a master debater. You wouldn't have to devote too much of your precious time to the campaign - only about 4 or 5 days a month, I reckon!!(However, you will probably be in a bad mood for a few days either side of that!).

Would do you think? If you want it, the jobs yours!!

Some periodic work does sound ace. It'll have to wait though, I've got the painters in.
