WIGAN HOME

Post by Rosicky's Right Boot »

Didn't see one.

Final home game of the season. Win and we potentially make the Newcastle game a lot easier. Lose and it's all over.

Predictions? Will the players do the customary lap of appreciation for the 4th place trophy?

A 2-2 draw after being 1-0 down......and then 2-1 up......there'll be despair and gloom.......it will put us level on points with Spurs.............but the mother of all wankfests will occur with a 2-1 win at Newcastle to save the day.............and less than a month later the Coach of the Decade will have signed a 2 year extension until 2016 and we'll all able to celebrate heading towards 11 virtual trophies

Why can't we play the attacking lineup we were around the new year???
Ya know, the......

Walcott
Poldi Cazorla Ox
Ramsey/Wilsh Arteta

If Wally is gonna fucking score then why can't he play up top like he was before it was brought to an abrupt stop by Lord Wenger because Giroud bagged a couple tap-ins. If Poldi isn't 100 percent fit then why not just play the Ox, who is always eager to run at guys, instead?

4-3.

Think it will be one of those crazy games, both teams desperate for a win.

Team is putting solid defensive shift. Wigan will be tired after cup final. I can see us not conceding a goal and score 1 or 2. If we get a homer refereeing, it is going to be comfortable win.

We were supposedly fighting for a top four place in the game against QPR - and we looked AWFUL...Both Wigan and newcastle are going to be fighting for their (prem) lives...so if we turn up and play mind numbing lazy tippy tappy style like we did against qpr - we are in the smelly stuff ...and can forget finishing above the scum.

  :banghead:

why the feck do we bother when most of the players don't.??? :|

They usually do, so that's when everyone should stay behind...stay Absolutely SILENT and Turn their Backs to them. No booing no nothing...

Oh! and have "WENGER OUT !" On the backs of their t-shirts etc...just to make sure the club and inspector clueless get the message.

I think it was hard against QPR as we were playing against a team with absolutely no pressure on them. You only have to look at Reading's result yesterday to see how dangerous those games can be...

Wigan though will still have something to lose. And it comes only 3 days after they play City in the cup final... For me, it's a perfect time for us to play them... No excuses!!

I can understand turning your back on Wenger but the players? why?

Considering how average this squad is, where did you expect us to finish? and how many points did you expect us to accumulate? - surely 70pts+ is no reason to turn your back on them?
