SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Far too early to tell is the obvious answer although being prone to injury doesn't bode well as it could stifle his development. Scored a lot of goals in the French second tier like (wiki reliably informs me it was 9 in 11, although 4 of them came in one game so he's not been scoring every week) but the French second tier is a world away from the Premier League. He'd very much be one for the future, worth a punt if he's cheap but obviously not the answer to your first team striking problems for next season.

There is a decent supplier of crosses from the left for a few of his goals too - worth a punt ?

you get the feeling that the £70m and ever increasing war chest is actually Arsole Wenkers own money and that when we finally get rid of him he will be taking it with him,why else wouldnt you spend £70m when the team is in dire need of improvement.

He'll get a combined total of 42 minutes 1st team football for us next season at left wing.

Then he'll be carted out quietly on loan to FC Bangotwana in the Guyanan league where we will continue to pay his £40k a week 5 year contract.

Right then, let's get some decent players in, raise expectations and move this club forward. Spend some money on good players, do it early and then let's give it a fucking good go next year.

So any potential deal for Jovetic and/or Higuain based on CL qualification can be tied up now.

Bring on the Jovetic's, the Higuain's and the Lewandowski's. Messi wouldn't be bad either. :barscarf: :barscarf:

Season over, 4th place secured. No it's time for the usual summer transfer season ghost town.
