I just spent the past three hours being batted by a liverpool fan who was very kind and explained the Henry sale means we are a club in decline. Before you ask I was quick to point out that no one will be going there summer and its a total f**king dump.
Anyhow having read through your post I am inclined to agree with your views on what really may be behind the move. As mere arm chair fan who gets his gooner delivered to the the door I only got the see the Henry on a TV set so have no idea what he does when he is not involved in the game.
As for a captain Toure would get my uneducated vote
