It's a VERY strange place indeed, and EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!!!
I'd go again though.

Surely Juve and Milan fans must have found it a little bizzare having to travel to Manchester for the final in 2003 or 4... The Stadio Olimpico would have been perfect.
Should UEFA consider having a ''reserve'' location - to be used only in cases where the 2 finalists come from the same country?
Logistically difficult, but not impossible, and something that could be clarifed by the quarters or semis, most years... EG, this year, they could have announced Wembley as a reserve location on the same day the quarter final draw was done.
I hope you are trying to be ironic. Because, if not, you need to travel a whole lot more, mate.khalid_red wrote:Should have been given to London. No stabbing, no drugs, no robbing. I've seen people with drugs, knives and robbing in London. But it must be my imagination.
Moscow is as dangerous as London
No, I wasn't ironic. I've been to Moscow but didn't find it dangerous. I am not about to travel into danger spots where I might get killed as I am 17. London's stabbings are enough for meDB10GOONER wrote:I hope you are trying to be ironic. Because, if not, you need to travel a whole lot more, mate.khalid_red wrote:Should have been given to London. London is not dangerous at all compared to some cities. Accepted, like all big cities, there are areas you will get hurt/robbed/raped/killed if you go in at the wrong time (even Dublin!). But London ain't got shit on places like Moscow, Cairo, Capetown, Washington, Rio, Johannesburgh, Kingston or Mexico City. Mexico City alone averages 15000 (FIFTEEN THOUSAND

) murders every year... Jaysus.
I'm not including obvious places like the Congo, Iraq, Afghanistan or the Ivory Coast where war, civil war, terrorism etc are the main problem.
London dangerous? Pah!
The continents are either six or seven in number depending on your opinion:26may1989 wrote:Ok Burnsy, you're wrong! Russia is not a continent (the only one-country continent is Australia). The Ural Mountains, which are inside Russia, mark the division between Europe and Asia. I think most Russians live west of the Urals and are therefore European. And Moscow is the biggest city in Europe by population (around 10million).burns718 wrote:probably cos russia is not in europe, technicaly. russia is a continent isnt it, correct me if im wrong
Anyway, in football terms, Russia is a UEFA member and so the whole of it is "European" for the purposes of football, as Turkey also is.
It's arguable whether there is a continent called "Oceania". It is a geopolitical entity, but it is not a physical entity. Australia on its own is a continental land-mass, the various islands being spearate from it (like Britain and Ireland are from continental Europe). In fact, unlike Britain and Ireland in relation to continental Europe, New Zealand and many of the South Pacific islands aren't even on the same continental shelf as Australia.QuartzGooner wrote:The continents are either six or seven in number depending on your opinion:
Europe
Africa
Asia
The Americas
Antartica
Oceana (Australia, New Zealand and a load of Pacific Islands)
Some split the Americas into North and South America to make seven.

Australasia is a term used by the United Kingdom, and her (dwindling) colonies.
'Oceania', in Greek, (who actually named this CONTINENT first) is called , (phonetically) , O-GEE-A-NEE.
Shakespeare said something about lawyers....What was it again ???
