Man City in Finland thread

I distinctly remember how odd it looked to me seeing Arsenal games from the 70s when we would wear our red at Goodison and Elland Rd. But then when the PL started, it reverted back to only changing to away colours if the shirts clashed.

Nowadays of course, with the 3rd kit every team has, there is a minimum number of games a kit has to be worn to justify the need for it. As they are not needed at all and are obviously just another rip-off, this results in ridiculous changes like Arsenal wearing all blue at Wolves and Liverpool switching to all black at Norwich.
I remember when we played Lens at Wembley (in the days when it was custom for the home side to change shirt) and we were forced to play in a blue top (think it may have been training kit?) - but by and large third kits are completely unnecessary.

Oh yeah I remember that now you mention it, one of the very rare occasions a 3rd top was needed. However the club decided that shirt wouldn't be available to buy which was a fair way to deal with it.

Yeah third shirts are very very rarely needed if home and away shirts aren't used by other clubs as stripes (e.g. red and white) and there's flexibility with shorts and socks on at least one of the kits.

Nope. Did a few OneBard (small  ) bets. Had €2 on 3-1 @25/1. 8) :barscarf:

Through the season I do a tenner every week as 5 x €2 bets on results between 25/1 and 50/1. With the odd 425/1 too! :D

I was celebrating the goals, enjoying the win, remembered I had just won a few quid too, was happy on, and then the above ^^ feeling slowly creeped in on my joy.... Wenger will be watching it and thinking "y'know, these lads are good enough... fuck signing anyone... we can win the PL..." :|

I never want us to lose. Ever. But I absolutely agree that winning so well on Saturday is probably the worst thing for the club in the long run.... :( :|
