THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

No, but he's put all our mind at ease about the transfer market. We're in the same boat as United and Chelsea apparently, so no need to panic :barscarf:

Where are you, SteveO?
I'm out in Florida matey.....and I couldn't stay away from the match......I'm watching it live on one of the Mexican channels......why do I do this to myself !! :banghead: :banghead:

JUST GO, now. Surely there is a French team crying out for some old has-been to implement a youth project?

I was at a loss to understand how anyone could still be supporting Wenger before the season started, but surely after this even the most ardent Wenger-apologist has to see we need change. To be so desperately short of players at the START OF THE SEASON is unforgiveable. I'm glad we managed to get rid of a load of dead-wood, but to not replace them is madness. And that's without even touching on the subject of failing to improve the team in the first place.
If any AKB's can still put forward excuses then they are truly beyond help.

If I post what I'm honestly thinking right now I'd never be allowed back here.

Lets remember. for season after season the fans took embarssing home performances at the Emirates with a tolerant silence. But I think the past seaosn or two were all rather to fucked off with this ongoing Groundhog Dayesque farce to be silent anymore. The atmosphere at every game now is one step away from toxic, and thats all the fault of the cretins running the club.

Angry, good report on today's woeful performance from Amy Lawrence http://www.theguardian.com/football/201 ... ier-league

Just wonder if even Kroenke will wake up if we lose to fenerbahce? Never seen a club in need of a new manager more than we do right now.

PS thanks for the welcome guys. Wish it was a happier time to be a Gooner. I've been through bad times before, but none this avoidable.

He needs to go, now. Nothing can justify his existence as AFC manager after eight dry years, after this summer (after all that bullshit talk) and after today's match as nothing can justify today's result. He have had eight years time to show some kind of improvement or at least will succeed but no.

This is not complex math to figure it out should he leave or not. Point me out one top team that is expected to challenge for the trophies in any sports and is failing year after year and where people in charge and responsible for those results can actually keep their jobs. It's the same in any kind of businesses and companies, not matter what size or where - only results matter and you have to have people working for you who can get those results.

We left Highbury for this shit? An absentee owner and a manager with a persecution/superiority complex the size of his bank balance.
