Villa match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Where was the organisation and solidity? - that was way, way, way too open. It was so unprofessional to play the game like that. Far too open against a counter attacking team like Villa. Talk about playing into their hands!

As for our players...

Chesney? - jesus wept, he's not a number 1. Horrendous composure yet again.
Wilshere? - why doesn't he pass earlier? - too many times he gets tackled or fouled because of an obsession with taking players on and refusing to release the ball. We lose so much momentum when he plays like that!
Theo - did our highest wage earner even play today?? - it wasn't bad, it was an irrelevant, nothing performance.

Rosicky - well played mate! 8) full of energy, drive, desire and quality (apart from his shooting  )

Wenger - yet again, more interested in waging war with the poor 4th official than the game itself!
Absolute embarrassment conducting himself like that, and what's worse is fans starting to believe him. Both penalties were penalties, Koscielny deserved the red card and we deserved what we got - a right stuffing because we have 2 fit centre halves, an arrogant overrated keeper with no competition, no natural CDM and certainly nobody remotely capable of covering Arteta and right backs playing at left back

All of the above were fixable long before today but none of us have worked in football for 30 years so should just put up and go back to our day jobs whilst the Coach of the Decade leads us to more glory

He's not going anywhere.

Not till the season ends.

Don't give a shit. I am going to get acquainted with a bottle of Smirnoff. Family's away, so going to get right and royally shitfaced and listen to some crap music. I love the Arsenal but tonight, Arsene,Ivan, Stanley,The AK's fuck all brigade you can all go and fuck yourselves up the arse with a fucking chainsaw.

This! It is not only that we don't have the players needed, but the tactics and game play plan. Imagine what better counter attack teams are going to do to us. Fuck me, I hoped for the best - only because of for team itself and our current players. It's not their fault that we haven't signed anyone and probably some of them are as pissed as most of us. But no, most of them played like assholes apart from Rosicky and Ox and even Giroud in some extend.

I don't know, if this match tells us anything at all it seems really fucking bad. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Gutted to say I celebrated the win against Newcastle last year that got us in the CL. I thought an obstacle to player investment had gone. Our biggest obstacle is Wenger. CL is irrelevant.

I am actually in a pretty good mood after that. If Wenger can't navigate through Fenerbache and based upon this performance, there is no chance of him getting a new contract. His goose is cooked this year and that I can tolerate. Fans are fed up and if he gets a renewal, many will not renew.

He has to go and judging from the posts in other blogs, the worm has indeed turned and I am loving it.

Seems like we are here every week. Not sure how anyone can defend this decrepit old fool. Come out with yet more utter utter shite:

Bellend: "We could have won the game, there were a lot of positives in our game. That is what we have to focus on."
The positives being - you are one game closer to being fucked off and maybe one or two are starting to see through the charade.

Bellend: "We were on the market before the game and it is the same after the game."
In the market. In the fucking market? Its the first game of the season and you talk about being in the market following a Summer in which you got a free injury prone Emile Heskey double to keep Diaby company!? Who the fuck is going to want to come to this sinking steaming pile of shit that is Arsene FC? Simply put - a senile old git masquerading as a manager. Genuinely feels like he is an agent from those arsewipes at Middlesex FC, every time I see his face I want to punch it again and again and again!

I swore to myself I wasn't going to put myself and my family through it this year and I still found myself scrabbling for streams to watch after rushing home from Currys looking for new appliances for our new pad. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :censored: :censored: :cussing: :cussing: :cussing: :cussing: :cussing:

I've learnt a lesson this summer. I now have no interest in the CL as long as we have a manager who creates a squad incapable of winning it. It's a competition for Kroenke, not for me.

When we have a manager who recognises we are the 4th richest club and builds a squad that reflects how much we pay in then we will compete for trophies again. Bored of Wenger's intelligent stupidity.

Just got back from the game. I'm just tired, depressed and almost don't care anymore. You can shout it as loud as you like wenger and the club don't care what we think. Even when we where shit in the mid 80s and 90s, you still enjoyed being a gooner because at least even the players cared and gave it 100%.

Someone said something about a bottle of vodka, I have a premium malt whisky downstairs , I'm joining you bro.

No fan should attend the next home game. I've stopped going. Ain't gonna give a penny to the current greedy regime.
