To take your point about wenker wanting what is best for the club can I ask you why he hasn't resigned yet then ?Four seasons ago he stated that if he hadn't won a trophy within 2 seasons he would be off but yet he still remainsHe is well aware of the real poisonous atmosphere surrounding the club at the moment so why doesn't he step down and allow the club a fresh start with a new direction ? Quite simply the man is on a power surge and continues to show that wenker's priority is wenker and the c.unt should be driven out asap

It would have been nice if he had of been able to walk away a few years ago with his head held high but that ship has sailed and the longer he is allowed and chooses to remain in charge the more this frustration and anger will grow![]()

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
It's plain for all to see that we have a manager who has sadly become incapable of managing Arsenal. Look at what he has become ever since we moved to the Emirates. Repeating the same old mistakes, losing his cool on the touchline, getting worked up when being questioned and spouting nonsense year after year. Name me any top manager who will come out with comments like 4th place is like winning a trophy. Now he commented that he analyse every single player in the world and work 24 hrs to get the players. Analysing every single player in the world and yet from june till now for 3 mths he still can't get anyone in while all other clubs in the world did? That is total bullshitt. Frankly he does not care about the club or the fans. If he does, he would have done something. All he cares about is his ego and that he can win with his tactics and formation and without spending big.

Sadly, i think this is all going to end badly. I am not saying he hasnt made huge mistakes, nobody can say that. I think we are in a real bad place from board-level down, and Wenger has to sometimes (not always!) take the flack of the mistakes of others. (Who signed off the +£1 bid? Shambolic).
If you think Wenger gets an easy time from the press then well, no point of a debate because i wont ever agree. Ignore idiots like Cross and Payton, those two are opportunists who pretend to know more than they actually do and love nothing better than blowing smoke up their own arses.
Wenger deserves respect, unfortunately things have transpired in a way that this could all end badly. Some of it his own doing, some of it not.
Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
If Wenger was an honourable man as some claim then why the fuck didnt he resign a few years back, he doesnt love the club he only loves himself, he doesnt give a fuck that hes slowly destroying us, hes a lying *word censored* who needs to fuck off asap

How about Paddy Barclay? Wenger doesn't deserve any respect imo, as he shows exactly no respect the other way! Arrogant, smug and a 'man out of time' (Elvis Costello), and I'm glad, so glad, it's all going horribly wrong for him too.Bendtners Drinking Buddy wrote:He isnt a quitter, thats the issue. Great post. Totally agree.Bendtners Drinking Buddy wrote:I love the man. He is a honourable, passionate man who deserves every plaudit he gets. He has more dignity in his right hand than other, more "press savvy" managers will ever have, the press have always hounded him, twisted his words, yet he has stuck with what he believed in. The press always give us no chance, he has proved them wrong and wrong again.
However, whilst i believe he was the right man for the last few seasons, sometimes you have to accept things go stale - i do not buy into the notion that he doesnt care - i think he cares more than any of us on here - which im sure is saying something. I think he loves Arsenal football club and wants the best for it - he has devoted his career to the very thing we love. He hasnt, and doesnt, get it right - but he has got a heck of a lot right - and for that he deserves respect whatever you think of his tenure.
Saturday was toxic, it was awful - and I am not going to defend him, or the club. We have been an embarrasment, shambolic - everything we have taken pride in not associating ourselves with since we were born gooners. Wenger, is VERY culpable, nobody can deny that - he has really, really messed up.
Has his time come to an end? No, because he is still in charge so i have to support him and any player wearing our badge. Do i think its time? YES, my only regret is that he deserves a farewell like Fergie - a proper one where he is shown the respect he deserves. That probably wont happen now, it cant as it stands.
I think there is credit in the notion the club should have stood him down 3-4 years ago with a proper farwell in hindsight, he would get the respect from the club he deserves. This is his own doing, i am aware of that, but there is no malice - he loves this club as we do, he has just unfortunately been left behind a little bit and whilst his intentions are good -there are just too many mistakes now.
I hope and prey we bring in proper players in the next two weeks (i do not think a club like ours should be in this position btw) - and that he can turn this season around, walk away with an FA Cup or something - a farewell for him that i think a man of his stature deserves.
Unfortunately, what i want to happen, and what I think will happen are two very different things.
This is a strange strange time to be a Gooner, eh?

That's a very well reasoned and well written post, mate. Fair play to you. I agree on a lot of it and disagree on some. I particularly agree that Wenger loves Arsenal. Anyone that thinks he doesn't and that he has some hidden agenda to sacrifice the club at the alter of his own power crazed ego is missing the point slightly for me. It's not that premeditated.Bendtners Drinking Buddy wrote:I love the man. Certainly his self belief and ego are a problem in that he can't see he is getting it wrong, or at least he can't admit it to himself. But I genuinely believe that HE genuinely believes he is doing the right thing, that he can turn it around.I don't believe he is only still there for his £7million and that greed is his prime motivator either. That's bollocks tbh. He has his money made. No, he is still there because he misguidedly still believes he is right.
I too am saddened that a man that was once the best manager in the world, that played the game the right way and was successful at it, will now leave (eventually) under a cloud of hatred and failure. It's a real shame. I've said it before; I still love and respect what he did for us between 1997 and 2006 and I can never hate him because of that time. But I've never wanted to see an Arsenal manager go as much as I want Wenger to go.

Hello Siddy!!!!
I knew you would like my post....im afraid i dont want him to die, or to shoot him in the head - is that allowed?
Im merely agreeing he should go, but i think the problems are not solely his responsibility (albeit a lot is down to him) and he deserves respect.
We are not in a good way, anyone can see that, just got to hope the next two weeks brings some good players and some good results.................what else can we do?
