SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I would not rule out loans for Skrtle & Scott Sinclair.

SS could be our new fox in the box.

Why would Liverpool loan out Skrtel? :?

Also Scott Sinclair has gone to West Brom and he is a winger not a striker. A poor man's Walcott.

I have just read this on SSN as the reason for the delay on the Bale transfer -
But it is thought Spurs are determined to string out negotiations until after Sunday's showdown, for fear of triggering a series of events that could see up to three players join the Gunners from Madrid. Reports on Friday claimed Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, under pressure to make signings before Monday's deadline, was willing to blow his entire transfer budget on Real trio Karim Benzema, Mesut Ozil and Angel Di Maria.

Seriously, the shit they expect us to believe!!!!! As if we had even half a chance of getting one of those players or for that matter Wenger having the balls to buy one of them.

Wenger is now claiming Spuds, who have bought well imo, are 'unbalanced' :? perhaps it is his own tiny mind he is talking about

The latter returning to Dinamo without having played a single game for Anzhi  Another Russian international Shatov has gone to Zenit. And finally Boussoufa (Moroccan midfielder) has joined Lokomotiv Moscow.

Samba (29, CB), Jucilei (25, DM), Lassana Diarra (28, DM), Willian (25, AM), Lacina Traore (23, ST) and Eto'o (32, ST) are still up for grabs.
Diarra has now joined Lokomotiv Moscow. And Willian is close to joining Sp*rs.
Samba (Dinamo Moscow), Willian and Eto'o (both to Chelsea) have all now left too. So that should be it now. Dinamo signed six Anzhi players, I'm expecting them to be renamed to Aznhi Moscow

Anzhi made a £100m profit in this August  Wenger's wet dream

You can bag Mourinho and Fergie but at least players wanted to play for them - no one wants to play for Wenger (or Moyes). AVB even has more pull than Wenger and he still has training wheels.

Been saying for ever I tells ya - Torres would be his old self with us.

I don't think Moyes knows what he is doing. Just random bids.

I can't believe 10mil for Rossi is anywhere near acceptable to Roma.

Moyes looks almost as clueless in the transfer market as AW, although I expect he doesn't have the same level of control as AW and his squad is a lot stronger.
