I think with the flamster playing is heart out yesterday and showing he is what we need and with the whole team yesterday defending as a team I think we could just about make do 'if' and a big 'if' if we can continue to play like that,for me a striker is still a must though,having said that if you can keep the ball out of your own net you've always got a chance of winning,weve always seen it the other way around in recent years with needing 5 goals to win a game every week

The toffees have got a work permit application in for porto midfielder Fernando - was he the guy that was suggested as a DM candidate for us a few months back ? Somebody put up a YouTube clip of a Porto DM and he was a beast so if it is the same guy then I am surprised that no bigger club came in for him

Complete panic buy IMO. I don't doubt he is talented but we have well and truly paid over the odds.
