As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Hey.....we have a winner.....cheers mate. Made my night !
You, 1989 and Piers Morgan - the three Wenger Must Go Now team turned into his worshippers by 2nd Oct.
Keep up the good work mate and be sure to post more pictures of your banner.....oops, sorry I forgot you don't mean it anymore ! Nice one - you really told 'em !
I'm sorry but that's not true. And please don't group me with that *word censored* Morgan again.
Be consistent then - when the window was about to close and we hadn't signed Ozil you wanted Wenger strung up by his bollocks.....shall I go back through the transfer window postings and the post Villa match comments ????? Or the ones from the end of last season?
Now we've beaten a crock of shit and signed one world class player all is forgiven, despite the fact we're about to approach the busy winter with the same fucking squad problems not addressed.
The transfer window was underwhelming.......Ozil was a great signing, but if we spend three months of the season playing Flapper in goal, a RB at centre half and Bendtner / Sanogo / Wally at CF then we'll be fucked.....and one man has allowed that to happen
Anyway.....we've hijacked this thread enough.
Back to Flamini - he's doing well. I don't believe anyone on here was excited about signing him when the rumours first broke (apart from Armchair obviously), its good to have competition for places but I still don't think he's as good as Arteta.

Or how Wenger fucked him over by dropping him in the CL final in favor of Cashley when Flamini was integral to that run and was part of a defence that kept 10 clean sheets on the trot in the CL, a record breaking feat.
No, nobody except you and the tens of other posters who've said the same thing on this board
So apparently we fucked him over by not giving him a long-term lucrative deal at a time when he was nothing more than a bit-part player at best? I mean it's not like the people suggesting that would ever moan about us doing that with Denilson, Bendtner, etc. And it was some sort of travesty that we started a world-class player at left-back instead of playing him out of position in the biggest game in our history?
While we're rewriting history would you mind pretending that Paul Bodin scored that penalty against Romania in 1993 and chalking off Wayne Bridge's goal at Highbury in 2004?

Let me know when that's going on display and I'll be right there with ya...
But I haven't changed my opinions !!! I still say 'brilliant mate.....love it'
If I saw you display it at the next game I'd buy you a fucking pint and shake your hand.
But 15 points against the worldbeaters Sunderland, Fulham, Swansea, Stoke, and the Swampdwelling *word censored* plus one quality signing in Ozil mean we'll never see it again......
Whilst I search for your turncoat posts do me the honour of digging out all of your pro-Koscielny comments following the 2011 League Cup final - surely you wanted him as captain instead of Vermaelen back then? Also your pro-Giroud comments from this time last year would be most welcome......

Thread recovered.......maybe.....
Can you point to me where I said all was forgiven? Putting words in people's mouths not a clever move SteveO.

Then we would all be able to look at this issue with total clarity

My point is that if you're going to slag Flamini off for running his contract down and leaving then remember that we were also trying to flog the bloke the year previous. Why should a player be loyal when the club doesn't show that loyalty back?
As for rewriting history, Flamini played every minute of every game in that run towards the final, and helped keep 10 consecutive clean sheets. He was superb in that left back position but was dropped for a half fit Ashley Cole who had a poor game that night, and played Eto'o on for Lehmann's red card. Not to mention Belleti's winning goal came from his side.

I think you need to actually look at what a turncoat is. Posting pictures of you with the banner from LAST season.....me agreeing with you and praising you for showing the banner.......you backing down from the banner......me still backing it......now Piers......I think even a man of your limitations might work out who has changed their views along the way. Forget my last post or just skipped over it........if I see you with the banner any time soon at a game......pint is there.
Found those pro-Koscielny and Giroud posts yet? Thought not

The club didn't show that 'loyalty' back then because what loyalty was there to be shown? The bloke was mostly fucking awful for the most part. Answer Northbank's question ! You're the sort of man to slag off 50k per week for Flapper, Djourou, Denilson, Bendtner etc......but you'd have happily backed a similar deal for Flamini after 2 years of doing fuck all???? Really? You are a visionary. How I'd love to get it right every time like you
Then the guy finally displaces an ageing Invincible like Gilberto and fucks off after 1 good season to the highest bidder. What happened to fighting for a place and then going on to be a club legend?

This is from the 3-1 at Fulham this season mate. Wrong again......
