Listen to the tipster! Usually priced about 4/6 or 8/11. Coming up I would definitely do Dortmund (H), Chelsea (H), Liverpool (H), Dortmund (A), Manure (A), Southampton (H) and Cardiff (A). 21 league games last season finished this way last season, even at odds as low as 8/13 I think you would have had almost 17 points profit?goonertux wrote:Listen to the tipster! Am I doing the maths correct on this?

At odds of 8/13 you'd be roughly 4 points downRoscommonGooner wrote:

At odds of 4/6, you'd be roughly 3 points down
At odds of 8/11, you'd be roughly 2 points down
You would need odds of 4/5 just to break even on a 21 out of 38 sequence over the season.
However 6 games out of 7 this season would see you up approx 3 points so you'd be clawing back some of your losses!
Re: Arsenal vs. Stoke Betting Strategy
All this maths is getting confusing. I just look at all games, and if I think there's even a small chance of both teams scoring, then I get on. Vary the size of the bets and I've seen a nice little profit so far.selsdon wrote:At odds of 8/13 you'd be roughly 4 points downRoscommonGooner wrote:

that's what i thought, when i was doing the maths, if your talking about profit, I prefer to check at least 5 seasons of data or over 100 games befor making a conclusion. But good luck to Goonertux I hope you continue to make a good profit,
although it is possible to make a yearly profit, last season would of been a small loss, but 11/12 season would of seen a profit
