Mertesacker keeping us in this singlehandedly
Re: DORTMUND CL GAME THREAD
Gibbs looks very vulnerable. Getting through a lot down that side.

The ref is a prick. That is all.

Arteta
Re: DORTMUND CL GAME THREAD
Completely agree. Thought Arteta's challenge was stupid, but Reus should definitely be in the book. It changes the whole shape of the game. Our "DM" gets a yellow, can't risk a tackle for 70 minutes, their "DM" gets away with it knows he can haul one of our attackers again one more time (might be the only chance we get)LeftfootlegendGooner wrote:How the flying fuck did that Dortmund player get away with not being booked there
More of a foul than artetas, clearly pulled him down stopping an attacking move!
It's a yellow card ffs
I can't watch this, had enough of referees giving English teams shit treatment, we get kicked from pillar to post but as soon as we make the slightest foul it's a yellow, same across the board, they should be ashamed
Turning over, not watching ref get his way

Napoli 2- 1
Re: DORTMUND CL GAME THREAD
Giroud's been poor
Re: DORTMUND CL GAME THREAD
BFG and Kos saving us, but where were Cazorla and Őzil?
Re: DORTMUND CL GAME THREAD
We need a striker with pace. Giroud can't cut it in games like this.
But what do I know, I haven't worked 30 years in football.

Half way there.
The old keep it tight and nick it late away tactics I hope.
Have to say the atmosphere sounds amazing as ever there. Their rendition of 'I'll stand by you' sounded great. Given the sentiment surprised was never mention when the club were looking for an 'anthem' a few years back.

Arteta may have put in a shift against Liverpool but tonight he's absolute shit. Incoming red card.
