DORTMUND CL GAME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Gibbs looks very vulnerable. Getting through a lot down that side.

More of a foul than artetas, clearly pulled him down stopping an attacking move!

It's a yellow card ffs

I can't watch this, had enough of referees giving English teams shit treatment, we get kicked from pillar to post but as soon as we make the slightest foul it's a yellow, same across the board, they should be ashamed

Turning over, not watching ref get his way :?
Completely agree. Thought Arteta's challenge was stupid, but Reus should definitely be in the book. It changes the whole shape of the game. Our "DM" gets a yellow, can't risk a tackle for 70 minutes, their "DM" gets away with it knows he can haul one of our attackers again one more time (might be the only chance we get)

We need a striker with pace. Giroud can't cut it in games like this.

But what do I know, I haven't worked 30 years in football.

Half way there.

The old keep it tight and nick it late away tactics I hope.

Have to say the atmosphere sounds amazing as ever there. Their rendition of 'I'll stand by you' sounded great. Given the sentiment surprised was never mention when the club were looking for an 'anthem' a few years back.

Arteta may have put in a shift against Liverpool but tonight he's absolute shit. Incoming red card.
