As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Saw the draw in a bar and had a chuckle to myself.

Are people adopting the same attitude as I did with CL this year and saying at least we'll get to see some decent games rather than beating Civil War FC then getting tonked by a half-decent side in the knockouts or is there a genuine sense of being gutted?

Arsenal > England
i'd add 'our' to that sentence - Holland v Spain will be a cracker, as will Germany v Portugal and Italy v Uruguay, Brazil v Mexico.

groups C, E, F and H look a piece of piss in comparison.

i'll probably watch every Holland, Germany and Spain game to see how our lads are doing. :barscarf:
What Dutch players do we have?

Coatez better than Goadin? :?
They have other good players like Caceres, Cristian Rodriguez and the keeper Muslera. But SoreSack is right, Suarez and Cavani are light years ahead of the rest of their team.

Well!! World Cup thread. I've got France having an easy run. Italy England Uruguay possibly the most entertaining group for many a tournament and with Australia facing Spain and Nederland I reckon my boys will beat the postcards home.
