Napoli away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Absolute dog shit ,groundhog day finish 2nd ,get 1 of the big boys in the next round ,get hammered and then glorious failure in the 2 nd leg.Same old shit ,but of course the GIC will be just happy to get through. If we beat the scum in the FA cup he will sacrifice the the next round of the cup for the CL.

Am I the only one on here who has a feeling of deja vu and that we are about to get raped by $hitty this week-end?

The Wenger we all know and love showed his true colours tonight. Don't be fooled by our run of form this season, THIS match typifies the complete and utter naivety of his tactical approach.

Now we can prepare for our knockout stage dry rape. Enjoy everyone!

Whatever we are through.

The Arteta red felt a little random considering Mertens could have had 4 yellows in the 1st half for constant fouling. The second half wasn't the greatest.

We are definitely not as good as our league standing tells us. The rest have been shit, but they have more quality and strength than us.

Bring it on!

We did (just) enough this game. We didn't set the world alight, far far from it. However, we didn't need to go all out for goals, we just needed to not lose by 3, which we did.

Think positive.

Mancs on Saturday will be a far far harder test than these wannabees!

On the grounds that they rested there 3 biggest players last night and we have just run ours into the ground the answer is a resounding yes..... I think they will tear us a new one!
But don't worry... Arsene knows.

An idiot knows that when u have a team that are chasing a goal, it would be ideal to have pace on the break ie Feo. But the GIC will play Feo at home against a shit team that will defend deep against us and giving no room over the top :banghead: :banghead:

see this is why you shouldn't ever get hopeful for Arsenal under Wenger - we go on a good run against poor teams, then run into a brick wall against the better ones.

i was quite excited today after the Marseille and Dortmund games, and now thanks to poor tactics. yet again. we lose 2-0 and don't finish top. again.

with them needing to win 3-0 to top the group why oh why didn't we play Walcott on his own up front, or even sub santi our for Wally at 70 minutes.

Wenger just doesn't ever ever learn from his own mistakes, he just repeats them - i bet now the teams confidence has been knocked he'll play it cagey on saturday and we'll get fucked over 3-0.

seriously, how many times has wenger done this ???

you can hear it now after next Saturdays loss - "weel yeez we were a little jaded after our defeat in naples but we showed great fight and character..."
