Campaign to make Toure Captain

There's not enought heart at Arsenal and as much as i like Gilberto i think Toure would make a better captain. please everyone who agrees send an email or letter to the Arsenal

It's Toure for me too. The man has acted more like a captain over the last year than either tel (intentional small "t" - did you see him rubbing the whore badge?

) or Gilberto.

Give Kolo the arm band!

The player who breaks most legs of opposition players in pre-season should get the armband.

It would undoubtedly be Lehmann then, which might not be a good thing considering he is a long term sufferer of 'rhoid rage.

Kolo is fully commited to the arsenal cause, but i just see Gilberto getting it. Is it a coinsidence that Gilberto had one of his best season's at the club when given the captain's role.

I'm for Kolo as captain but if Gilberto gets it i've not got a problem with it.

Think the fact Kolo will miss a month of the season won't go in his favour.

Shame Lehmann wasn't made director of football, can just imagine it now,

I agree with Chopper Kolo Toure for the armband but he will be away for the african nations.

and yes Jens Lehmann would make a good director of football lol

Definitely Kolo is the right one but only after Gilberto.
How would you fill in place of Gilberto?
He might leave after that. But anyway he is on his age to leave, that has bekame an true event at Arse.

Kolo could of won a trophy after being captain of the young guns in the Carling Cup Final (the 1st game being captain i think)
I think both Kolo & Gilbreto will make fine captains & another reason Kolo should b has he is younger so at least he'll have a couple of more seasons with the armband the Gilbreto
