Gus, I agree with your sentiments.

Our season is over. We are now left with the summer and I hope we aren't let down.

I know Big Phil Sendimoff was awful but fuck it. That's it for us. I'm not going to go into it tonight, too gutted.

If AW let's us and the key players down this summer, then fuck him too.

i said before the game that someone would get a cheap penalty, im gutted really gutted i could cry, feel for all the boys up there and for the players especially walcott, andy townsend said it could hae been a career defiying moment but now nobody will remember

I think we should be immensely proud of our boys, I thought we battled well tonight with the exception of ADebayor and Eboue.

If you really want to play with a lanky string of piss up front then Crouch is 10 times the player Adebayor is. Everytime he gets the ball he loses control of it and he isnt exactly lethal in front of goal. Thinks he is Henry and didnt challenge for headers or make life difficult for the centre halves like Crouch did or Drogba has previously. This isnt a reaction to tonights game, I said this when he was on his run of goals before.

As for Eboue, he is not a right sided midfielder, Walcott did more when he came on than Eboue did all game. and while I am on the subject why do we always throw Theo on when we are chasing or losing a game? its like saying 'i know you are only 18 but go and save this one for us' No wonder he took so long to settle and was off form, he has enough pressure being the only Englishman without having the added pressure of resurecting games for us.

Anyway rant over I think we should be proud and I dont think we can be accused of lacking fight and needing an english backbone as we battled as well as any side tonight.

defence is our biggest problem, we need bigger squad, when will wenger see that ? once again I feel let down by lack of investment
We came a long way with what we have got but nowhere near what this club should be aiming for
apart from that it was never a penalty, but a free kick just before outside the area.

What is wrong with you lot? Who gives a fuck whether it was a penalty or not? Don't you see? If you concede four goals in a European tie, you're asking for trouble. The 'Hoof also missed good chances. Our strikeforce is frustrating at times, but we are scoring goals. Our defence is fucking shocking though and it is costing us game after game. Fine, they scored a dodgy penalty, but what about the other three soft goals? Blame the ref if you want, but we're not out of the Champions League because of him. That's called passing the buck. Our defence is shite and something needs to be done. I wouldn't mind so much, but I just know that sweet fuck all is going to be done about it over the summer, and Wenger is just going to sit there with his thumb up his arse waiting for Senderos to become John Terry.

The Reason why i knocked gallas is because;

1) Against Chelski he was outclased- simple as
2) Again against Man USA
3) His Pathetic Antics against Birmingham

4) For Me doesnt have the leadership qualities for Captain.

But overall Our Defence is weak the stats dont lie, im normally optimstic but I just hope along with everyone else im sure that he adds to the squad this summer!

i know it wernt a pen but toure has given away all our pens this season, except the clichy 1

i feel cheated, it despises me that u can see in hleb and adebayors eyes that they jus dont really care, they give up wen it gets tough, as much as i hate terry fat frank and carrager they never ever give up

How long before the cesc to barca/real madrid rumours start now ? Another barren season and the pressure is really on for the summer. Personally I do not think wenger has the balls to pull the trigger on eboue & hleb in the summer and likewise hasnt got the balls to sign big either. He has ducked out of starting theo in every big game this season

Dont usually disagree with you gus but I thought cesc kept trying tonight but was probably fucked - in all the games we have rested players this season (steau,sparta,seville,manure in cup and last saturday) I think cesc has played in all the games which isnt fair for a kid of his age. I also thought gallas was poor tonight and couldnt even beat riise in the air
