THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

There is and was a rider in all of the share deals that he was to be chairman for life (or nominee) and I think but cannot confirm he had a right of veto on them however he hasn't done much more than make embarrassing comments in the daily star for the last 5/6 years .

There you again with your anti Danny Fiszman rhetoric.

Everyone knows my views on Wenger over the past 3-4 years and as I said they have softened slightly but no one can deny we're having a good season (so far) can they? Is it due to Wenger or in spite of him? I don't know but the transfer window activity or lack of it and the strong end to the season or lack of it will/should give us the answer. If we strengthen this month and go on to win the league I'll happily admit I was wrong

ONE ARSENE WENGER......THERE'S ONLY ONE ARSENE WENGER
:barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:
As the only person on here that along with you thought this was a formality, I assume I will be granted a seat at the top table? :rubchin: And SteveO, make sure it's quality meat not that knocked-off shite!! 8)

That reminds me of my wedding day - the tables were all named after Gooner legends and the head table was "Wenger". Same theme for the BBQ I reckon - who do you think should be joining us on the There's Only One table? I'll go for Rodders, Augie and Falkirk Goon for starters......
Won't that make us too full for the main course and dessert? :rubchin:

So basically a few good months is enough to make you question your previous opinion that was based on 8 years of mismanagement ? Added to that, one good season is enough to wipe out the terrible mismanagement of the previous 8 ?

Personally I would love it if we win the league this season but even 2 trophies this season will convince me that wenker is the right man to take this club forward - it will take more than 1 season in the sun to do that

I'm still against but care little either way anymore. He'll stay as long as he wants and it could be much worse so I guess I'll just accept that and move on with my sad, miserable wreck of a life.

Because it is such a simplistic way of looking at things that it would make a small simple child weep and it's stupidity. He also seems to be confused by something know as a different opinion. He seems very taken back that perhaps his way of thinking has not been adopted by all. This has been known to confused large, slow thinking animals but in humans it is usually a skill that is, maybe not mastered, but certainly understood at a relatively early age. That is why it is poor.
