not true. our lack of tactics, preparation, medical care, failure to learn from past mistakes and flexibility is why we won't win it.

United have always had more money than us but we won the title in 98,02 and 04....

and don't forget that we are the club that had bentdner, djourou, diaby and denilson on our books for almost 10 years each.

And don't forget it would be city who would of had them sort of players without the sugar daddy

Last few seasons Blackburn, Bradford, Birmingham, Ipswich, Leyton fucking Orient, have made us (Wenker) and his lack of tactics and ability to play in a different style depending on opponents look very ordinary.

But we are a phenomenally rich side that: a) has seriously underinvested in the playing staff in the last decade, and b) has pissed away a considerable portion of the money that has been spent on transfers and wages in that time.

thats true - but they've also had the sense to loan their dross out to villa etc. whereas we reward ours with a new contract.

look at Wenger - not one single trophy in his last two contracts, but he gets a pay raise to make him the 2nd highest paid gaffer in world football.

Not to the same extent but for over the previous two seasons we've amassed two points more than Spurs with a wage surplus of about £100m. And whilst it's unrealistic to expect any manager to get every transfer right we have consistently mis-spent our money - for example spending nearly £25m on Giroud (average) and Podolski (doesn't fit) instead of spending £30m and slightly less than their combined wages on a quality striker.
