=BBC BBC World Service's Steve Crossman reports: In Kim Kallstrom, Arsenal are getting a player I wish had left Lyon for the Premier League nearly four years ago.

In April 2010 his Champions League season ended at the semi-final stage after defeat to Bayern Munich.

Along with Miralem Pjanic, who went on to star for AS Roma, he had been an important figure in the success of a Lyon side which had earlier ousted Manuel Pellegrini's Real Madrid over two legs.

He's mobile, he can play anywhere across the midfield and he takes a mean free kick.

We do love a loan deal these last few years don't we? Leave it with all this stop-gap shit ffs. Act like a proper club, go out there and actually buy a quality player or two. Fucking hell.

We are a club with huge huge financial resources, massive list of playing staff, an academy with a steady stream of talented youngsters champing at the bit to get a chance and a large scouting team who cost us a small fortune no doubt in wages and expenses.

It's embarrassing that we regularly revert to loan signings.

Yep, and Wanker himself has had the cheek to moan about loan signings being unfair in the past. What is the problem with buying now? Why would the senile old *word censored* think that a player whom he deems too expensive in January will be any cheaper come the summer, especially when he has the chance to star in a world cup?
