Re: Tickets for Wembley
Tim Payton seems to think every ST holder will get one that wants one and hope for Silvers and Reds as well as not everyone will apply for a ticket

Not sure how there can be much if any hope for silver and red members. Aren't there 35,000 Gold members and 7,000 or so Platinum membersbang goes the 0-0 draw wrote:Tim Payton seems to think every ST holder will get one that wants one and hope for Silvers and Reds as well as not everyone will apply for a ticket

Sky Sports have removed the article which first suggested we'd get 42k. Personally I don't see it happening either. There would be a media outcry over the unfairness of it all, more likely Wigan will send back whatever they can't sell and it will go to a neutral section like last season

Re: Tickets for Wembley
I've got a slight moral dilemma with this one with possible jinxing thrown into the mix too.
I should have no problem getting a ticket (15 away credits) but I would really love to take my son (something of a lucky mascot, 11 games, 10 wins, 1 draw).
I mentioned this to the guy I sit with in terms of getting a spare if anyone around us isnt going and hes top of the list, but has said I would stand a better chance if I offered up my potential final ticket (theres the jinx) as compo for someone missing the semi
So - take my son to the semi and not go to the final (possibly) or dont take my son, and go to both (possibly)
To give a bit of further context, I missed the 2003 final because he'd been born two days before, and then missed the last game of the invincibles season because it was his 1st birthday

Not sure the FA would care much about a media outcry; they will just want to sell as many tickets as expensively and quickly as possible.trustno10 wrote:Sky Sports have removed the article which first suggested we'd get 42k. Re: Tickets for Wembley
Looks like all ST holders will get one. Can see some being released to silvers too.

BBC:
"The Gunners have been allocated 42,882 tickets, while their Championship opponents have been given 22,807".

Re: Tickets for Wembley
What would be expected for the final then, 25k to each club? 30k?
Re: Tickets for Wembley
Great news. Does anyone have a map detailing where the different categories are seated?

Re: Tickets for Wembley
Last year Man City were allocated 25,000 which later rose to 31,000 as Wigan couldn't sell all of their's. I'd imagine, we'd end up with around 25,000 if we get there.Robin_L wrote:What would be expected for the final then, 25k to each club? 30k?
