Great vid and my favourite bit is the shot of the two old boys at about 2.30 who are sitting in their seats, having a chat and looking like they're waiting for a nice cup of tea and hoping that all the fuss around them dies down as they've seen it all before.armchair wrote:Full time.![]()

Re: Tottscum match thread.
Overall I was so delighted with the performance! And most people won't understand or agree we deserved the win to a certain extent unless your all mad gooners like myself which I know you all are, but I've seen so many games where we've dominated possession and chances but don't win games I can recall many a game where that's happened and it's cost us in title races on previous of occasions. We was smart yesterday with when to counter the scum in the first half and should have converted more opurtunitees, ox should of scored and podolski should have worked loris considering he's track recorded on that club hammer of a left foot. I also wanna say how I was happy about how wenger was not nieve as he was been so many times e.g. Liverpool away, city away, and other games in the latter of previous seasons which has once again cost us by trying to play teams of the park when can't always do that you have to earn to the right to play in the big games can't play wonderful stuff on the eye until you've won the personally battles to earn the right to play. We still need a top draw striker, morata is my thoughts he's young and will be a great like Raul was for real. Another centre half and still need a holding midfielder because with all the flair and ability we have there no one is prepared to sit except flamini and I have a lot of heart for him but he's not good enough on the ball to find the right pass straight away, he's a good short solution e.g. This season but after this season I don't think it's wise for him to continue to do that roll week in week out can still be useful as a squad player. Up the gunners! 1nil to the arsenal

This chant went on for bout 20 mins non-stop untill we were thrown out.
Watching that vid doesn't half bring a lump to the throat..........would love to have been there

Just out of interest, was there any trouble from the scum fans after the game yesterday ? Those Neanderthal c*nts are scum at the best of times but their reaction to losing at home to us usually isn't good

Think you are being a bit unfair NB123, though course understand the frustration, and as you say it does seem especially with the Wilshere fiasco in the last 2 seasons that there is a lot to answer fornorthbank123 wrote:I disagree it's injuries that will cost us - this side has still shown a propensity to go missing when it comes to the crunch, injuries or not.LizLeGooner wrote:Bendtners Drinking Buddy wrote:I dont understand how Wenger can be lucky he has BFG - he bought him!
We are ravaged by injury - take the equivalents of Ramsey, Walcott, wilshere and Ozil away from any top side and they will struggle.
Injuries i think will ultimately cost us, but how can anyone be downbeat beating the scum - for the third time, wihtout conceding a goal.
£110m is a heafty price for 60% possession in one game and no shots on target.
THANK YOU!!! We're top of the injury table once again, with most of the missing parties being midfielders. We can't expect the same attack as earlier in the season.
And as for those injuries we are largely to blame. Ozil - far more physically demanding league than Spain yet he was the only player not rested before Christmas and has played nearly every game since despite clearly being perennially fatigued. Ramsey - arguably overplayed and clearly his recovery schedule was all wrong, a 3-week injury becomes 3 or 4 months. Walcott - as Verheijen pointed out he was out for about 10 weeks and after starting to ease him back in we jumped the gun and he started 6 games in 3 weeks, playing 90 in all but Newcastle (79 mins) and Spurs (until injury and would have played 90 as no more subs).
Even though Wilshere's injury was clearly not avoidable our management of his injuries has been terrible. The usual farce led to him missing an entire season and since then it seems (to me at least) that he has spent half of the time playing through niggling injuries (and I would say the same for Arteta who I don't think has been fully fit for much of the past 12 months).

Walcotts ACL isnt related to the amount of games/ too early a return, at least I am not aware of ligament ruptures being related to that. they usually go due to a traumatic force being applied to the knee in a twisting moment.
Wilsheres current injury wasnt the medical teams fault, perhaps the England medics have a bit to answer for as it wasnt even picked up at half time.
We dont know what exactly Rambos injury is, so its rather harsh to blame the medical team unless we know whats what. I know a local player who at first was thought to have a strain but later scans showed an ACL rupture- sh*t happens
Ozil, again its a bit mysterious, suggestions he did it within 2 1/2 mins of the start of the match- they always have a warm up before a match, did so at Bayern yet this happens.
It is harsh to say that Walcotts injury especially will have no bearing, even the odd goal or 2 would make a difference- I cant help but feel he may have made the difference both v Manure (Home) or The Orcs away- his pace surely would have broken their defences down.
Rambo seemed to reduce his effectiveness a few weeks before his injury but really we were a different team with him in the lineup.
Re: Tottscum match thread.

Timmy's reaction to Ox missing the chance when he was through on goal was pretty OTT I thought. We were already a goal up after all.

Some comments off 'Glory-Glory':
Can we delete the title of thread please, makes us look so weak.
I know where it came from with some guy starting a thread titled 'lets laugh at..' during 2011/12 but after seeing pics of that lot's players doing selfies in front of the away endand nearly putting my fist through the screen I'm really not in the mood.
Can we call it something like scum or just Woolwich Nomads?
Since the start of the PL era, have we ever lost 3 games on the bounce to them, not scoring a SINGLE GOAL in the process??![]()
The selfie incident after the game yesterday shows why they are still the cringiest classless ****s in the entire world
Yesterday's loss was huge, and it's unfortunately now looking very unlikely we'll finish above them. This was the time to knock them out of the top four as they now have money to go out and spend big; without Champions League to offer the pool of players they can attract would have shrunk.
Their attack is the worst it's been in years. Giroud is an oaf - now they'll go out and replace him with Diego Costa or someone like that sigh
St Totts Day looks like being the earliest its been for a few seasons, looking like late April I am afraid

Re: Tottscum match thread.
Theoperator Verhiejen claimed fatigue is one of the biggest causes of ACL injuries, hence why I considered it a possibility. I'm not saying that those injuries were definitely all our fault, but its not unreasonable to consider overplaying and it has our botch medical team's fingerprints all over the Ramsey one by the looks of it.
With our squad it's too easy to claim injuries have killed us because of our lack of reliance on one or two players. If Citeh are missing any of Kompany, Toure, Silva or Aguero they struggle - anyone else they can cope with (whereas if we had Dzeko and he was injured it would be a monumental loss). With United if they're missing Rooney or van Judas (when he was arsed) it transforms them. There are probably 12 or 13 players we would moan about losing, but not one anywhere near as much as one of those.
FWIW I reckon we've done orite with injuries this year. Walcott has been a major blow and we've missed Ramsey and Chamberlain although its a big assumption that either would have been playing near their peak given their form over a longer period. As much as I love Podolski's game and character he is a bit-part player for us and would not have had a huge impact. Slug or not most important for us is Giroud and its a miracle he's stayed fit with his playing time and workload. Szczesny has won us points this season and we haven't had to endure Flappy in the league, and Sagna has stayed fit so we haven't needed his sub-par replacement in Jenkinson. Everyone comments on our improved defending but how fortunate are we that our two CBs have barely missed a game between them? Even Gibbs has had one of his better seasons (again important with Monreal being such a calamity). Midfield is the area we can cover most with our strength in depth there, and frankly its a miracle that Ozil stayed fit for so long along with our best player from last year Cazorla.

That and those crazy patterns the groundsman did at home games made the GG era almost surreal !
Well said Herd

I love the reaction of the players in front of the Gooners at the end of the match, but does anybody else feel the "selfies" is a bit cringeworthy ?
I mean who the fcuk brings a phone onto the pitch ?
This wasn't a once in a lifetime giant killing upset so taking photo's of it seems a bit lame to me tbh

Doing your local rivals 3 times in one season deserves it.augie wrote:I love the reaction of the players in front of the Gooners at the end of the match, but does anybody else feel the "selfies" is a bit cringeworthy ?I mean who the fcuk brings a phone onto the pitch ?
