Chavski match thread.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

As much as I'd love us to break the beating Morninho / never lost a league game at home double whammy all I can foresee is a rather tepid 2-0 defeat, we will miss a good early chance, fat Frank will score a deflection and then Eto'o will score late on

We will get bummed. We'll play like we have done in every other big game this season, turn up scared of our own shadows, play at 2mph, give the ball away constantly, fail to threaten Cech. Rinse and repeat.

3-1 home win.

We shall win 2-1. Then WENGER will stick up two fingers to the haters.

The lads will play out of their skin to make Wenger's 1000th game a happy one.

Chelsea have been drawn against Paris. That's good for us because it means they are going to get two more games in semi-finals

posted in the Wenger Love Thread - Rosicky very doubtful for this one, leaving our midfield as ?? Arteta, Ox, Santi, Flamini....70th min sub Kallstrom? The first 4 are being overplayed due to all the other injuries, so waiting for one or more of them to break down soon.

Classic backhanded compliment from Mourinho.
"I admire him and admire Arsenal," said Mourinho on Friday. "It is not possible to have 1,000 matches unless the club is also a fantastic club in the way they support their manager, especially in the bad moments and especially when the bad moments were quite a lot."
It should get us fired up, I think if we don't win we will pick a red card or 2 trying.

I'd love to hear us singing that with the game wrapped up in the dying stages. Sadly we're infinitely more likely to hear 35,000 Chav wankers singing "Arsene Wenger, we want you to stay" as they canter to a 2-0 success.

For me, if we could walk away winner, it would be the win of the PL season for me. I want nothing more than to see Wenger and the boys slapping that douche in the face. Bring him to his knees. It would really make my day to see the ref piss him off forcing a reaction that sees him sent off.

I just don't understand why the media love that narcissistic prick.
