Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
this is a fucking strange decision too :
http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archiv ... urbishment
it sort of says, season over, lets close the main club store with 4 home games to go.
again, another piss poor commercial decision which shows how poor the club is from top to bottom - why not close it in June and July ?
is it to prevent the Tourists seeing the local scum protesting ?

Most of the Nike stuff is sold out you can't even buy the home or away jersey online anymore. Looks like they are setting up for the Puma gear I reckon.
Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
I think they are planning to decorate it with "Wenger's 1000" merchandise so the brainwashed have an official place of worshipclockender1 wrote:this is a fucking strange decision too :

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
What with Puma coming in you would have thought they would have offered a sneak peak of the new kits(I haven't seen anything official, happy to be corrected), I remember when Nike came in all those years ago they revealed the kits in February I think!
Anyway back on topic....erm...Wenger Out?

goal poll is now 43/56 against....
http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2873/pol ... al-forward
I am going to guess that a lot of the JCL's are not enjoying the pisstaking from their City, Chav and Mickey brethren.
that and spending a 100 quid to watch shite.

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
I really cannot see the point of protests at this stage of the season ,we are still fourth and we have the possibility of winning the cup.
If we lose to Wigan and slide down the tabole then the last home game of the season would be the time and place for a mass protes .
Doing them now you run the risk of it backfiring on you, the media will label you ingrates, and many fans who may otherwise be sympathetic will turn their backs on you and view you as traitors especially if we hold 4th and win the Cup !
Dont get me wrong I want him gone at the end of the season but I suppose what I'm saying is that I wouldnt be prepared to start the revolution now so to speak.
Timing is everything !~

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
Timing is important agreed - but Rome wasn't built in day either.
People who've been forced to keep quiet need to be shown they have a voice and they can dissent.
Do it before the city game and you still have likely losses to city and Everton to justify your point.
A win over Wigan and Hull doesn't whitewash away the 6-3, 5-1 and 6-0 plus whatever City might do to us again.
Plus the media sense it's time to go on the attack too - after the Mourinho, scholes etc comments the press smell blood.
Just go to google news and put in Wenger out...

Agreed 100%. The Wenger-loving meeja will slate all Gooners because of this and that will alienate alot of the fence sitters.Herd wrote:I really cannot see the point of protests at this stage of the season ,we are still fourth and we have the possibility of winning the cup.

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
Fair point from Herd, even though the media would love a protest and many (if not most) would agree with strong dissent they will be the first ones to paint us as twats if we did then canter into 4th and win FA Cup. Just like they loved the anger after the Villa game, questioned Wenger's future and then 6 weeks later when we were flying it was all disbelief and smugly pointing out that "after the Villa game some fans were calling for his head".
Although saying that if the season does play out like that we could hardly protest after mid-May and I'd rather see a protest that some people later viewed as rash than none at all.
