Cup final tickets

Are they going to keep doing ballots for the exact number of tickets until it decreases nearly to 0?

Not sure it was handled correctly from the off but before now they should have had a larger 'standby' pool than tickets remaining and done it first come first served. Would annoy people with relying on the website etc but at least you avoid the jokes of tens of thousands of ST holders desperate for a ticket whilst there are still some floating round in the Box Office due to shit admin.

There is also the problem of tons of tickets that might not get to their destination on time. I can imagine the chaos at arsenal/wembley if this does happen.

This is becoming a joke, just went on the web as a try and they have hundreds left over, did try and assign them to gold member but keeps coming back as haven't got the right criteria!!!!!!!!!!!!aaahhhhh(ps i have deleted them now)

Missed out 0 from 2 in the first ballot and was never on standby but a good friend who is quite high up in the FA has just called me to say he has 2 tickets for me . I don't know where in the ground but I couldn't give a f**k .
First cup final I've been to with my son so a bit special . Hope the result is the one we're all wishing for . COYG .

Those seat numbers are still available this morning so it would seem that unless they are sold within a 3 hour window of opportunity (as per the email) they remain unsold. What a total balls up

I also phoned the Box Office yesterday and had some sniggering pillock laugh when he said my mates were still unsuccessful

Edit: It'll be interesting to see whose sitting in these seat numbers if they remain unsold at the end of today

I'm on the phone to them in an hour to get the next installment of the missing ''overseas cup final ticket''. My wife, who isn't particularly interested in this saga , told me last night that she thinks that the Malaysian airways plane or those Nigerian school girls will be found before my cup final ticket.

The fact that its Arsenal football club doesn't make it any different imo, our season tickets pays for this drongo's salary!

They have the ability to produce a duplicate I am sure if you turn up at Wembley on the day with proof of purchase and ID.

The same thing happened for the worthless cup final a few years back vs chelski, of course having a train delayed by 5 hours didn't help. It was absolute chaos 5 mins before KO when we finally got there.

This is not a post to brag but just to inform.

The Box Office sent me an email around 11am yesterday saying that I was invited to purchase a ticket with one of my Gold Memberships. I had applied for two tickets in the ballot and been unsuccessful with one. I was asked to go online or telephone between 1 and 4pm and buy with the unsuccessful membership number.

I bought a ticket in Block 544 and was told it will be posted to me.

I would imagine that more people will get that email today.

So i've finally got my ticket in the hand. I have the privilege of joining the 'im going, but sat in the Hull end' crew, but its better then a shitty stick poked in the eye and all that. I have however heard that the block i'm sitting in (526) will possibly be quite a neutral one as its mainly made up of Hull return tickets. fingers crossed, but its pretty dam close to the Arsenal fans so their is the very real possibility I may end up getting some abuse from my own.

I don't think 526 is the hull end, its more like neutral ie might as well be our end.
