As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

That's a very real possibility, and I think he'll be brilliant for them in that position, unfortunately. If, however, he is simply to be back up to Zabaleta, then that's just insane. Yes he'll be paid a lot more... but still. We really should have tried harder to keep him.
Apparently we did but Shitty are offering £100k a week for a FB in his 30s, now that's insane
Yeah there isn't anyway we could compete with that kind of offer. But I do believe that if we started these negotiations off with a little more respect towards Sagna then he wouldn't be going anywhere. If the rumours are to be believed, that we only initially offered a 1 year extension, then there's no wonder he's leaving.
It seems like we only decided to offer a 3 year contract once it was obvious he was unhappy and that there was a real chance of him leaving. The whole thing was poorly handled. But then again, how was yet another important player allowed to run down his contract to the point he can leave on a free to a rival!?
Manchester United have started negotiations with Cesc Fabregas. He's Louis van Gaal's 1st priority. Player keen to move. (@tancredipalmeri)

unless they intend to off load that fat pikey or push him out wide, that move doesnt make sense.
i'm more inclined to believe they want robben, shaw, muller, hummels and kroos as the Graniard says.
in other news - "The north Londoners are set to battle it out with Chelsea and Liverpool for MK Dons starlet Dele Alli, according to the Express.
The 18-year-old has enjoyed an excellent season for the League 1 side with his style of play even likened to Anfield legend Steven Gerrard."

This bloke has one of the worst accuracy ratings for 'in the know' tweets, if the surrey tw*ts want to get sucked in,then it's all good
quite interesting today, chat with Lehmann, Keown and Tightpants Jamie in the Daily Nazi. Lehmann reckons Cesc was a main reason why Freddie's goalscoring dried up - Cesc took 3 or more touches, then passed, whereas before it was 1 or 2 touch, faster football which suited the team and Freddie better.
I get the impression our former keeper isn't a fan.
Arsenal and West Ham have held talks over the signing of Anderlecht defender Cheikhou Kouyate according to the 24-year-old's agent.

I thought we had First Option on Cesc should he leave Barcawhores
We do. Doesn't preclude other clubs from negotiating with him, though.
if Cesc goes anywhere but back to us well then that's it,im finished with this ambitiousless club,Cesc is one of ours, and is exactly the calibre of player we should be looking to buy
