Puma to make our kits

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Why is their logo 3 times on it?

Not sure if you've seen some of the bags but the puma logo is BIGGER than the club crest!

My wallet is staying firmly shut but understand that kids are brought up in a different era
Didn't know that - disgraceful.

Our first year with them and they're already cutting corners, can't even be asked to give us an authentic crest.
Guess what...the puma logo is embroided on!!!

I bet on the authentic kit the crest is embroided on.

Bit of a piss take when I noticed the badge was some ironed in plastic shit.

What is the point of the cup kit? Not even on sale lol

It's obviously not a case of not being arsed/cutting corners. I saw the shirt printing being tested months ago and chatted to the guy who is responsible for this. Unfortunately I can't remember exactly what he said about it but given the focus on sports technology with new kits and desperately trying to save a few percent in weight and gain a few percent in moisture wicking etc etc etc it probably doesn't fit with that to have a (relatively) heavy, large crest stitched onto the chest area.

ive always loved it when the crests and logos are actually part of the material as in not stitched or ironed on,like the sampdoria shirts used to be,like a pattern would be on a t shirt on any other top if you catch my drift

Have I understood this thread correctly? Are going to have 4 kits (including a cup one) and they will be changed every year? If so that is disgraceful.

I guess that makes sense although whenever I see Messi it looks like he has a shirt that is 5 times too big for him and that doesn't seem to weigh him down!

This whole "Future, Forever, Victorious" mantra is about as arbitrary and cheesy as can be.

Why not just keep "Victoria Concordia Crescit"?
