He has played at the highest level? That's the sort of comment normally made about experienced pros, not some kid who has played a few World Cup games.guybwood49 wrote:Campbell for me too. He has played at the highest level and looked good
for the first couple of games at the world cup. Sanogo will be OK but not sure he
can become a first choice. Another good squad player and an option for plan B
We are going to need a big squad so there must be room for both.

Have you seen the sort of shit that passes for a CL team these days? He has racked up less than 10 starts in those two competitions combined so let's not pretend that he is proven at the top level or has any substantial experience.afcforever wrote:The Champions league doesn't count thennorthbank123 wrote:He has played at the highest level? Sanogo has also started in the CL knockout stages and played in an FA Cup final, he's played at the top level

Do you mean the CL that let's 3rd and 4th place teams into it, teams that might have finished 20 odd points behind the actual champions of their league? That one? The one padded out so heavily with utter utter shit teams from utterly shit leagues just so they can show more games on TV? That one, yeah?
Well fuck me pink, I've changed my mind. Joel "Thierry" Campbell HAS TO START EVERY GAME FOR US!!

Re: [POLL] Joel Campbell or Sanogo?
INAMOTO had a very good world cup in 2002 having rested for the whole season at Arsenal !
He went on to have a long career at Fulham West Brom Cardiff and god knows how many other clubs !
Its as relevant a comment as the rest of the shite on here .
Lets see how Cambell does ,I would like to see him get a chance !

Re: [POLL] Joel Campbell or Sanogo?
Never mind Joel Campbell, I'd have a retired Emile Heskey over Sanogo.
How on god's green earth did he convince anyone he was a footballer? Fucking hell...

I'd say we would need both of them for depth and they both have diffenerent styles to offer.

Yup! true:SVChowd3r wrote:I'd say we would need both of them for depth and they both have diffenerent styles to offer.
Campbell = Young, quick, strong, good feet , can head and strike a ball...Potential to be Excellent
Sanogo = Physically dyslexic, cumbersome, doesn't know right from left, can't kick a ball to save his life = Potential achieved to be Utter Shyte.
