Besiktas away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Very open game, we just haven't had the quality to open them up (which doesn't bode well for tougher games )

Would be reasonably content if it stayed at 0-0, as currently I can see us conceding as more likely than scoring :(

Thought Chambers has been fab - he certainly likes to get stuck in and that Alexis works very hard for the team but is holding onto to the ball a bit too much.

Ox on to win it :barscarf:

What is the point of having spent nearly £80 million on Ozil and Sanchez without bothering to buy a decent striker????
Arsene knows!

What does Campbell have to do to get a game?! Giroud has been useless all night, and then he takes off one of our most productive and ambitious players in Sanchez... :banghead:

If Giroud decided to retire tomorrow and become a catalogue model or a street sweeper, I would not be too bothered based on tonight's piss-poor showing.

if he slots in for sanchez it doesn't help us. the problem is in CM and no-one alongside Giroud.

He couldn't hack being a street sweeper, he'd have to do something......

Idiot. Fucking brainless first yellow and totally avoidable second.

Could see that was on the cards, our tactical genius should have subbed him instead of Sanchez

Ramsey being a prima donna, trying to beat a player when he had options for an easy pass, loses the ball, tugs the shirt and gets his second yellow :banghead: :banghead:

Very silly from Ramsey. Both cards were avoidable.

The card's a reflection of our slackness at times in midfield, which brings problems on ourselves

This is like watching European football from twenty years ago with shitty pitches, bollocks refs and running tracks around the pitch.
