Besiktas (H)
Re: Besiktas (H)
By the 75th minute There's Only One Arsene Wenger will be belting out from blocks 2 to 6 and the Turks would have finished banging their tedious drums and repeating the same boring chants over and over again.
We're going through....

We should be fine, but the law of averages suggests that we might not win the CL Playoff tie one year.
The fact that a 1-1 draw would see us out suggests that it's not that implausible.
Still, I'd go for a comfortable 2-0 win with no major hassles.

The deciding factor will be; will we cop onto the fact they are shite and put them away, or will we tippy tappy around, looking all nervous like MEd at a dwarf throwing contest and let them sneak a shit away goal and then do our panic thing and lose 1-1.![]()

Giroud and Ramsey will be missed, but if we haven't got enough in the squad to put away these mongs we may as well just give up on the entire season right now tbh...![]()
3-0 to The Arsenal.![]()
I knew you wouldn't let it lie - would you...Oh! no you have to try and stir the smelly stuff. You're not happy unless you're trying to drag everyone else down to your level..

I have a bad feeling that if we don't score in the first 15 - 20 minutes the tension will get unbearable and someone will actually 'Boo' wenger - of course they'll be ejected from the ground quicker than spuddy can throw his smaller amigo dwarf (DwarfBoy10over a 1 foot hedge into a field full of worried goats....

1-1 and out of the CL.
Re: Besiktas (H)
This should be easy but this is Arsenal
my team would be that should be enough to win
Szczesny
Debuchy Koscielny Mertesacker Monreal
Wilshere Flamini
Cazorla Ozil Sanchez
Podolski

Out tonight,or in 6 months after a limp wristed display somewhere........what's the difference?

Re: Besiktas (H)
Unless we nick and early one, don't expect a lot of goals in this one. It'll be a cagey game. They'll have 10 men behind the ball and we'll be wary of them on the counter with Ba. One goal for them and it becomes an extremely tricky tie for us.
Re: Besiktas (H)
well my season ticket for starters rather see Madrid the then some team from Estoniarobbo10 wrote:Out tonight,or in 6 months after a limp wristed display somewhere........what's the difference?

So you rather see us in the Euro league than CL because we might have a better chance of winning it mmmm each to your ownarseofacrow wrote:limp wristed. So true in every way.robbo10 wrote:Out tonight,or in 6 months after a limp wristed display somewhere........what's the difference?

Very nervous on this one and expecting a tense atmosphere. Ba looked very dangerous last time and it's difficult to see where our goals will come from.

They are noisy fuckers might hear more of them than us if we do not score earlySimon wrote:Very nervous on this one and expecting a tense atmosphere. Ba looked very dangerous last time and it's difficult to see where our goals will come from.
Re: Besiktas (H)
I'm really torn about tonight.
I would rather see a win and the chance to spend some more of the "war chest" due to CL Group Stage income on our obvious needs.
But scoring will be difficult with the available options and being dumped into the Europa League would be big time chickens coming home to roost for Wenger.
Hope someone comes through and puts a few in the net.
