The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Falcao on bench for Monaco today. Still think he will go to Real Madrid and Arsenal will go for Benzema.
3:02pm - 30 Aug 14

Ian Ridley journalist via Twitter

According to other sources falcao is not in the Monaco squad at all.

Apparently City are in for Falcao too which would throw a spanner in the works.

Reckon Benzima could happen of Falcao goes Madrid.

After Higuain left last summer and Morata this summer, I think Falcao would be in addition to Benzema. I can't see them getting rid of him if Falcao came - even now Madrid look, number wise, like they could do with another centre forward.

How many games will Karim get if Falcao goes?

it should quickly dawn on him that Arsenal is the natural choice, we will look after him well.

They have the ladyboy who can play centre forward and that might actually suit them when you consider that they have monkey boy, james, kroos, modric and isco all vying for attacking positions

I hope that whomsoever started this incessant Benzema rumour has a royalty for every time it resurfaces.

Dozy and Wheezie out of that 60's pop group Dave, Dee, Dozy Wheezie, Mick and Titch.

(And DON'T start DB or I'll tell everyone about you and Spuddy in the park last week at midnight when you both were P*ssed and Spuddy discovered a new use for spreadable butter!
