The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We need to sign two Dutch players: Vim and Vigour. Failing that we definitely don't want another low-scoring forward (Welback), give me Defoe..he may be Ian Wright-light but he'd fit our style of play, score goals in our team and be good value at £6m on a two year contract.

Welbeck's training with England at Colney. What do you know eh.... Wenger's scouts work day & night looking all over the world and the one player who's apparently better than what we have can be found on our own training pitch on the last day of the window? What are the chances?! Panic buy? I won't have a word of it!

Who thinks that?

If you are referring to my prior post, and if you were I wish you would actually link it to me, I stated SSN's Spanish football expert Ballershit stated that was our budget.
